Title: alamy min 48MB file size?

Edit:sorry I am changing the whole question.infact this topic should have been in alamy section.

I am planning to apply Alamy
as you might know Alamy requires your files to be size of 48mb at minimum and 200mb at max.in order to provide this you are encouraged to interpolate your original files.(they say original files must be at least 4mp)

Now as far as am concerned  when they say uncompressed file they must be refering to  tiff or raw formats?becasue first I thought it was jpeg they referring to .

They accept 48 mb tiff files compressed to jpg format (which is about 17 mega pixel).

Submitting from a 4mp camera is going to be tough - they recently tightened their acceptance standards and they recommend nothing under 6mp for native camera size.

thank you very much for your input.
yes,standards are getting higher everywhere. luckily I am on 8mp now.
and also regarding file size  I figured out what they meant,actually it was on the site  which I hadn't  read  carefully. what they mean by uncompres file size actuall is when you open a compressed  file (jpeg) on a ediitng sofware(like PS) it is umcompressed which is  the size they were  referring.
