Title: CorelDraw - PS Illustrator CS
Post by: Freezingpictures on June 06, 2006, 05:33
I have a question for creating Vektor Images. Which sofware would be better: CorelDraw 11 or PS Illustrator CS.
I have seen CorelDraw for just arround 40 Euro. Is it worth it?

I have no experience with CorelDraw (I didn't even know it would handle vector images).  I started with a free copy of Canvas 8 (downloadable from their website) but after a while I saw that sites that sell vectors require either AI or EPS files and Canvas conversion to EPS was a huge problem.

Thanks Madelaide,

yeah I just discovered Coreldraw. I didnīt know that either. I just wanted to know if it is worth it. I guess it is not as good as PS Illustrator CS or CS2. But even then. Only 40 Euro compared to ~500 for PS CS2... I just do not want to spend 500 Euro..without knowing if I am even good at doing Vector images so that I can sell them.
