Photoshop Tutorial - Beginners/Intermediates

This will be the first part in a series on how to isolate objects to place them on a white, or any colored background.
This is the first  method of making a selection around is a "Specialized" technique

It can be used when accuracy of a selection is paramount....
...and you're not as good with the pen tool as you might like to be.

I offer an an alternative you might not even knew existed!
