I'm curious because I never get any responses. Perhaps this is the wrong
forum to post photoshop tutorials? Does anyone one even look at them?

I haven't read this recent lot as I am not doing any photoshoping at the moment (other things to do).

In the past you tutorials have always been full versions of photoshop and you always use a trick that isn't avaliable in PSE2.  I find them helpful but dont have time at the moment.

Miz:

In time, I read all of your tutorials.  I really appreciate that you post them.

I just think that there isn't much to comment on, since it is well done and it is not controversial.

All one can really say is Woo-Yah.

Keep up the good work.

"I just think that there isn't much to comment on, since it is well done and it is not controversial."

Well, that says it all! As those who know me, I have always been considered a border line instigator.
I miss the old me.  :(

Don't change back to being an instigator   :) .   Keep the tutorials coming.  This is a great place to post them as there are always many new stockers on the scene who are learning all they can about all aspects of photography.

I read the dark circles and acne ones. Really helpful, forgot to say thanks. I'll read the rest when I have some time...

I've been watching them - it's nice to see how others work with photoshop, and your contribution is most welcomed and appreciated.
I'm sorry that I haven't commented - I will in the future.

Miz, I read/watch them.  Quite a few came up that I haven't gotten to in the past 2 days, but I INTEND to.  I noticed your work on Dreamstime a few months ago - before I spotted you here - and it really stands out in quality and imagination.  So when someone like The Miz is willing to share their expertise I think that a lot of us are extremely thankful but don't always voice our gratitude like we should.  I happen to have cs2 but I know Corel pretty thouroughly so I've been slow to learn photoshop.  (I know my reluctance/lack of time is hurting me in the long run.)  The "live" tutorials have a big impact.

SO, THANK YOU!
KEEP EM COMIN, I'LL KEEP WATCHING!

I'm sure you realize I'm reading them - lol

I even had the nerve to ask you through a personal email for a tutorial on removing lens glare/flash from eye glasses!

Thanks so much and keep them coming.  They are appreciated!

Stacy

rjmiz....   hey... I have learned a boatload since i've joined MSG!!   I hope you and all keep those tutorials coming.  I've used photoshop for years and still have a lot to learn about it.
I really do appreciate the 'family' feel of MSG.  When I got into microstock, I expected a high-strung, cut-throat, mega-competitive group of people.  I found just the opposite here!! The folks here have always been helpful and willing to teach others what they know.  Always encouraging each other.   I've reccomended MSG to many other photogs.
so yeah, rjmiz...   they ARE being read and enjoyed and appreciated!!    Thanks much. I will make a point of letting you and other tutors know when I have gained from your and their time and efforts!
            thanks!   8) -tom

I appreciate the tutorials, but the i cannot use the movies. Would love it if they were PDF.

QUESTION: Is there anyway in Photoshop to create a straight line lock when doing things like cloning. What I mean is: Take a picket fence. I select an area of a picket and want to duplicate an area of the picket from above it so that the line stays straight on the edges of the picket.

You don't get responses from me because right after looking at one of your tutorials, I jump on Photoshop to try it!
 ;D

Keep posting, I really appreciate!

Hold the shift key just like with other tools.

I enjoy and appreciate your tutorials. I guess this is standard internet behaviour, you post something that pleases the crowd, you get no response, try and post something not so pleasing and you will be flooded with negative comments.
keep them coming, I could not figure it all out on my own.
Thanks,

Pierre
