Title: Speeding up photoshop start up times
Post by: leaf on May 11, 2009, 11:41
I just saw this little software program which apparently speeds up the start up time of photoshop by disabling filters that you never use.  If you end up wanting to use a disabled filter while inside photoshop, it will load right then, instead of at start up.

i can't say I have tried it, but it looks interesting.  Has anyone else tried it?

and for interests sake, here is an olderthread on how to speed up photoshop (http://www.microstockgroup.com/computer-hardware/how-to-speed-up-photosohop/), in general

Photoshop used to take forever to load on my old computer, but on my new one it only takes about 3 seconds. That's plenty fast for me.  ;)
