Hello folks. There are a stack of masking tutorials out there but I seem to get lost about half way.

Anyone know of an easy to follow one.

I have some old family photos I want to fix up. Things like shadows behind people and such.

Give a try to lynda.com.

There is a huge library of quicktime movies on Photoshop.  Of course you will have to pay to have access to all of them but the firsts lessons of every chapter are free to use.

I use these to get in touch with specific tasks and I believe that sooner or later I'll go for the full course!

Good luck!
Claude

I can reccomend a book. Photoshop Masking & Compositing by Katrin Eismann is terrific. There are easy methods and advanced methods all explained.
