One of my shots on iStock was used in the designer spotlight, I got the normal email and had a look at the design, this one however is different because the guy has done a Youtube video of how he did it, it's 9 minutes long but very interesting.

Should have said, his brief was to create a Bladerunner type poster for a music festival in Peterborough.

My image is used to make the tiny row of Police officers.

WOW!!

Sometimes I try and convince myself (and other) that I'm creative.  That's a real hit on the head with reality.  I could "mechanically" do that, but I could never come up with all those ideas.  Amazing.

Graffoto

Man! I get ticked off of I need to spend more than a half hour retouching an image  ;D

This must have taken an least days if not not a week to finish up.... he really leaves no little detail out, right down to the glowing eyes of the police officers.

Very well executed.

After watching that, I can honestly state I am not worthy and should not even get close to Photoshop ever again.  :)

Amazing video. You can see in the info that it took 30 hours to complete it.

Personally I like this one by demonoid. Not so complex but a bit more accessible.

oh my gosh, those videos are crazy. It is fascinating watching images being used in ways I would never have thought of. the final designs are so good it is almost hard to wrap your head about it.
