I just use saturation adjustment layer>decrease saturation>boost lightness>invert layer>paint it on>blend to taste with opacity
-
usualy use similar process, but instead hue/saturation use leves, pick white eyedropper on point on teeth, later invert selection, mask only teeth, eyes, and finally use brus with 50% hardness and correct eyes and teeth.

On topic: I duplicate the layer, desaturate it slightly, in levels I cut off dark and light ends (to keep some structure) and make it lighter in general. Then I go to the top layer and selectively erase 40% at 500% zoom. I do the same with the eyes, but less. After flattening remove the addened noise with the blur tool but avoid the teeth edges.

Thank you Flemish ;D I already planned to buy one of those expensive wigs... like Beyonce has ;D

The final image on that tutorial looks horrible, nobody has THAT white teeth.
Much easier and better is just to select the teeth and then tinker with the Hue/Saturation
(Edit: Yellows Saturation: Less Lightness: More)
And the same for reddish eyeballs but with Edit: Red
