Fee on PayPal payments from Pixmac?

<< < (3/5) > >>

leaf:
My fee was $7.34 on a $160 payment.

They are obviously using a different method of payment than other sites like Dreamstime, Fotolia and Shutterstock as those sites don't have fees.

signelements based in the UK (fee also)
featurepics based in the USA (fee also)

Pixart:
It doesn't look like they are using "mass pay" or they would automatically pay the fees.

Poncke:
Pixmart is correct. With mass payments, the sender pays the fees. If not then its you who pays the fees. And depending on currency and cross border payments, you pay different fees. It also depends on the percentage you are on, which depend on your payment volume coming into your PP account. And all countries have different fees. You cant compare US PP accounts with UK PP accounts, etc.

Lucie:
Hi everyone,

I am sorry to read that your fees are quite high. There is some cross-border fee applied, as Vita already said - it is different for each country, you can see it here:

We send the whole price, the fee is taken by Paypal. Sorry for that...
