Could it be a good thing for Pond5 video sales, that StoryBocks no longer sells marketplace videos?

if the majority of producers chose not to opt-in to their $0.03/download video program, then yes.

Yes, it will help sales on Pond5 and SS and will help even more if EVERYONE who has content on videoblocks removes it immediately.

Things are far from perfect at Pond5 right now or SS as some have noted but removing content from VB is a start in order to right the ship.

Word gets around fast and once customers find out they can get the same quality clips that are sold on Pond5 and SS over on VB for $29/unlimited then there will be a massive problem. Videoblock is enemy #1 for the entire industry or what is left of it.

The industry is trending downward thanks to the dropkicks who price their work in the gutter. However there is hope, VB member library is very poor quality compared to SS and P5
