All of my IPTC data comes through in lowercase so I have to manually edit the title and description.  Is that just me?...

I have the same problem. Very annoying.

Yeah, it sucks especially if one has place names in descriptions.

However annoying, in the end search engines are case-insensitive, so I'd just leave in lowercase (manual editing defeats the purpose of using IPTC to save time).
Yes, you are correct and in a pragmatic way it does not matter.

However, with my OCD and trying to present my stuff nicely I just don't like the looks of city names or other terms all in lower cases.

Not me.  I have enough to do without putting upper case where it belongs.  As long as it shows up in the search engine, I'm good.

How long have you been with them? Did it take months for a sale or are you seeing fairly regular sales?

I confess I'm a little bit worried about photo sales at Pond5, the first 2 weeks I've sold some files, but this month nothing at all, only video.
How are you doing there???

Had my one complimentary sale within the first week of uploading, then nothing . . . .

I am not on Pond5 but am looking for my 11th site for which to upload.  I wasted my time with Stock Fresh and just don't want to wast time on the lower tiers if dormancy if my ROI.  Sounds like a no win.

To be positioned between 123RF and Canstock someone must be making money from it? Or do you think it is perhaps just the few fortunate ones making more than one sale pushing it up with the pricing being so high, it only looks like it is a good seller?

I think it will take some time for buyers to realize the presence and availability of still photos on P5.  I've only had a few sales, but I'm optimistic, and I think eventually sales will pick up.

What I dont get is that they already have 8 mil photos online. But the whole site is geared towards videos and sound fx. Photo support is very limited and quite complicated to edit.
