Title: Is Pond5 any good for illustrators?
Post by: cidepix on September 29, 2014, 14:46
it obviously gets my attention seeing pond5 that high on poll results..

Could some illustrators please confirm that it is indeed a top 5 earner for vectors?

Bottom 5, maybe. Definitely not top 5.

thanks  for the answers.. very helpful and saves me (and some others) a lot of time..

last thing I need is another bottom 5 site..

especially when I am still in the process of getting rid of some of them..

FYI I'm an illustrator with 2,000+ at Pond5 (thanks to the Pixmac merger) and sales have been growing slow and steady with nice commissions. Their submission process is a little quirky, but not has bad as DT, FT or IS. Once you figure out out to set up a template, you can do 1-click submissions with large batches.
