Is Pond5 still the best for submitting video ?
Any new experiences?

Yes, I've had the most sales there.  I think it's not quite as good as it used to be but that's probably because there's a lot of people doing video clips now.  I've not uploaded much in the last year either but I plan to do more this summer, if we have one this year :)

If you submitted video to only one site...it should be Pond5. Most consistent seller by far...

For me it is still the best but since last August Shutterstock is not far behind. One month with equal earnings on both sites and one month Shutterstock was even better.

same for me -- i get about $2 on SS for every $3 on pond5 now

I have only 40 clips total, and have been online a little over a year. For me Shutterstock is best with the average download ratio of 3 to 1.  Although Shutterstock pays less amount per clip, it still wins consistently every month. Maybe I need more clips to get more exposure at Pond5.

My video portfolio is pretty small and not statistically significant, but rather bizarrely I've done best on iStock, despite it having the least number, followed by ClipCanvas, and only then Pond5...

What kind of videos are you uploading? Fancy techno created productions or more basic stuff? Not asking for subject matter just two broad categories as described above.
