April's top sellers: 2 exclusive vs 43 non exclusive out of 45 total files.

Assuming that most not going exclusive people adjusted their prices after the -10%

this seem as good news,
As titled: no worries, it is still content that sell!

 :)

Apologies, I didn't wrote it clear.

Not "my" files.

This month's top seller videos from all contributors according to P5.

Prices are higher on p5 now because non exclusives adjust the price to cover up the missing 10%.

well done p5.

What an extensive promotion of exclusive collection...

Did they at least send an email that it exists?
Was there any sales already?

LOL!!!   :D

There is a small "E" upper left of the exclusive clips of course. But in bright clips it is not too visible.
I didn't have any illusions that exclusivity will bring more sales, after all as stated, content is that rules over everything else.

Anyone noticed how in addition to the 40% how they are now discounting the original sale prices as well?, $299 sale, NLR $99 ,my cut under $40.  These are supposedly discounts to high volume buyers but I think it's more like Pond5 is simply cutting as much cash outflow as possible.

It's not 40% commission anymore, haven't had a 50% or now 40% cut of the original price in weeks, they talk about wanting to make more money for artists all while we make less.

Any other places to sell editorial other than Shutterstock?, Motion elements still alive and kicking?,  Pond is getting less and less viable each day, most certainly not going exclusive and pulling my content from other sites if this discounting and creative math continues.

I've noticed the same, and for quite a few months prior to the 40% change. But I've also noticed a lot more premium licenses than before which make up for the discounted ones. Like $225 for HD. Which is nice!

I've only had a few premium license sales  and yes those are nice, sales have remained steady through April while others have complained of things being very slow but wow have these discounts cut into my pay, this is a lot bigger pay cut than the 10% they announced for non-exclusive contributors.

Comes at a bad time, they are trying to convince us to cut over to pond5 and be exclusive and give up the other agencies at a time when we are basically taking a major pay cut at pond but if we remain non-exclusive we have to price match the lowest selling agency that has our work which means yet another pay cut.

I hope I am wrong but it's like they are driving us out of business, I don't think my eyes have ever gone as wide as they did this week looking at my sales report, very healthy sales, high priced ones too and commissions all below $30?.
