15. Would you be interested in a voluntary option to contribute a small portion of your Pond5 revenue to a fund that supports the next generation of young up-and-coming filmmakers? (your choice of % with a matching donation of up to 10% from Pond5)
asking to donate money of my earnings to help others create (competing) films. leaves a weird taste in my mouth. let them work for it, like we all did
has to be the weirdest request i have had from an agency. they really have no shame do they.?

Pfffft
Yeah, right

I just did the survey, and also felt strange at this question. Like where am I?
It really seemed to be out of contest.
Maybe they wanted to refer to people like content creators on for Youtube and similar things, who may become stock footage buyers? But even in this case I don't see how this model could work out beneficially

Yep, I chose 'not interested' for that last question, would I be willing to help other film makers. Let them do it the hard way in the real world like the rest of us. It sorts out the dreamers from the persistent grafters.
-
Not interested! This question makes no sense!!

Stopped uploading there one month ago, due to low kick.
But i specialize in imagery, not video.
-
Weird question, I said not interested. It's a profession, not a charity.
-
And how could one be sure that’s where your “donations” were actually going? What a stupid question for a survey.
-
Left last year. was a fav site.
-
Definitely the strangest survey question to throw out to contributors.
"Help us create more competition - and pay us to do so!"
>:(

It's the most annoying thing when your indy filmmaker friend asks everybody to donate for his/her hobby film project.
-
if they need funding they can go to specific sites, like kickstarter etc.
