Pond5 halving prices

Sometimes Pond5 tinkers with your video prices (even if you set them yourself). You should check in your dashboard if your files are still priced correctly. Could be a front-end thing with discounts, but they could also change your set prices.

Yes, Pond5 indeed does that! It is included in the contract - I did not know before too, because who read it full, right?
But this happens only with all NON exclusive items (footage, photos, music,...).

I asked pond5 about it a few weeks ago and told them that some artist now doubled the price to get their wanted price. And Pond5 told me, we are free to do it! But we should also have in mind that this double price is shown in that regions, where they do not half the price. BTW: It could be half prices or different to that and depending on the region.
Interesting for me: I could not find any of my (non exclusive photos) for prices like 1$ - I guess because my footages are exclusive. So might be they only select artists who are non exclusive with footage.
