Okay, POND5 (and others) have an 1864 vintage film of Abe Lincoln....when were movies invented?....thought it was later than that??

That's just some filters on and bad camera work of a modern parade.  Look at the people on the side watching.

The first film was made in 1878.

He died in 1865. So yes, it's fake.

He died in 1865. So yes, it's fake.

It's not fake, those are actual people! Some of the spectators were ahead of their time. T-shirts weren't exactly fashionable back then, but some commoners thought 'to hell with long sleeves, these short sleeves are going to be popular someday'.

Apparently, the pioneer filmmaker got his film stock labels messed up. The 1864 parade is suddenly set 4 years earlier. Unless it was a very long and boring parade lasting 4 years.
