Title: Removing video files from Pond5
Post by: cg3dphoto on March 07, 2014, 06:25
For some reasons I would like to remove all my video files at Pond5. Can I do this simply by deleting all the files from the "My Uploads" tab? Will the files be removed from the search as well?

Thanks!

May I ask why? I thought P5 was the go-to video site.  I'll agree that for me I haven't had a single video sale there, but I only have a port of 60 or so vids and 3000 images.  I do sell a few images every month, but I still need to build volume and breadth to my vid collection so I am not discouraged by the lack of sales......yet!

I just found that it is quite time consuming to upload to multiple sites. I started uploading to Pond5 in mid February this year, and lucky to get one download so far, but still I feel that the number of view and download is not as good as I expected before.

Let's see you started uploading in Mid February this year that would be about 3 weeks on line if my math is correct and yet you feel your not getting the views and downloads that you expected for a 3 week time period? Am I missing something here?  Why not wait say at least six months or one year before jumping to a conclusion like this?  8)

I think you should give it a few more months before making a decision.  It is widely believed that the views stat is broken.  Many have had clips with more downloads than views......
