Photo sales on P5 are not frequent, but they do happen: I had 18 of them in 2021, 26 in 2020, etc...

I had 7 sales in 2021 (one file was sold twice, first time $10, second time $20), 4 sales in 2020, same in 2019, but I haven't uploaded anything in probably two years. I'm not sure it's worth the time. I don't think, uploading more would produce more sales. It's more a random thing.

Stocksubmitter does it for me, so the additional effort is zero.

once again, it's hard to interpret these 'facts' without knowing portfolio size & # of views

One sale, my portfolio cca 300 photos. For a price equivalent 68,8 sales on SS.

My numbers on photos at pond5:
- 8 sales in 2020/2021 with a total of $42.00 (not exclusive)
- portfolio size: about 22.100 images - mainly surface textures, skies and clouds, landscapes and infrared landscapes

The fact is that this isn't the answer to the question asked in the title of this thread  :D

The answer to the OP's question is "YES".

This fact is really very easy to interpret, IMHO  ;D

Personally, I wouldn't bother submitting images. P5 is best known for clips. Very hit and miss agency for me and VERY miss lately. With just over 3000 clips I've managed 18 sales @ $226.00 total with 3191 views over the past year.
The best thing about P5 is you can change/alter the price of your work if they decide to lower the commission which I did a few years back. I don't know if increasing the price of each clip by $5 had a direct effect on sales but the agency is definitely on the decline for me.

with a port of 4500 clips i have about 50 sales per month since 2012...the agency isn't in decline,it takes the right clips to have a sale....price doesn't matter most of time...i price my clips 149/79$....

Yes. Every now and then I get an image sale on P5 at a good commission compared to nowadays microstock standards.

But. Image sales are scarce, so without upload automation or distribution it's probably not worth your time.

Actually no. NO is wrong.
"Has anybody sold any images?"

The answer is YES. Because there is at least one person (me) who sold at least one image.
So, YES: somebody sold an image on P5. :P

;D

I sell about one a month.  The return is nice @ 50%. Some of my stuff is specialized and I net $20 of the $40 gross sale.  I price my other images lower, between $7 and $20. I still support P5 and upload images there even though sales volume is dang low.  They are not my priority when I have a set of images but when I find the time, I'll have a hot tea and upload them.

My answer is YES, but like others have said, it's hit and miss.

Images do pay well, however, whenever they sell.
