Price was set to $139. No comment.

I guess setting our price is no longer viable.
To those who will tell me that it depends on the country of purchase: Well I dont think that this is the case here.

Well you should of went exclusive and you would of earned $3. ;D ;D ;D
-
I've just sold one for exactly the same amount: earning 2$
Entrprise custom license
But in my case it was for 4K version
Incredible
-
Today, I had a report with 6 sales, each for $2, which is the same as others here. I understand that there are different types of customers who pay varying amounts based on the volume of assets they buy.
Let’s see what the next few months bring...
-
Last 7 sales are 2$/4K. Yay I guess...
-
… great deal for them, with so-called big companies - they can take hundreds of thousands, make entire library available to company and send us wrapped peanuts… again?!
-
Probably a very limited use or one-time streaming license. I had 4 of those yesterday, but not worried. Many sales above $149/HD for custom or premium license. They aren't that stupid to give out the same license for $5.

Then they need to be more transparent as to what these licenses cover in our sales reports. "Enterprise license" means nothing to us.

I agree. They should give us more information about the license usage.

I got two sales today for a whopping $2 royalty. Both not your average, easy to get vids so I have them priced accordingly. Pond 5 is really nothing more than a SS pig with lipstick. Some may still be getting decent sales but what we are seeing is the start of a complete erosion of what Pond 5 used to be.

Actually, "Enterprise Custom License" has been there since before the Shutterstock buyout, but price wasn't this low. So, I hope it's a very limited license, but when I had $35/4k clip Enterprise License sales in 2021, I complained to Pond5 for clarification and got answer from Greg. Here's his reply.
"Hi,
I had to check with Sales on the deal - it's a large return Enterprise customer with a very high overall spend ($70K). They have a negotiated bulk flat rate price in exchange for the high spend.
All custom enterprise deals can be different and this is definitely one of the most extreme I've seen in terms of price points. While it's not possible to "opt out" of enterprise deals, every deal is governed by a price constriction and I guess at your new 4K price you just fit into the constriction for this particular customer. These are always "behind the curtain" for the big customer of course.
Let me know if that makes sense.
Best,"
So, it was not a limited use license at the time. If SS/Pond5 sold our clips for $5 for a big buyer for standard license, that's a bad deal for us. So, I just hope it's a very limited use license. Some Global Market sales are ridiculously low price too at $22.50 for HD. I think they should get rid of those cheap Global partners.

But we only have 2 choices. To stay with Pond5 or to be out of it.
Pond5 is far better than any others for me. So, I still have my faith in them that they'll do the right things. So, I'm not really worried here.
-
Maybe "ai" training (aka theft).
-
Good morning everyone.
in the last month I have not sold clips anymore.
I have a fairly large portfolio with images of many Italian tourist locations, especially Rome.
Normally here on Pond5 I sell a treinino a month. In the last two months maybe 4 or 5.
does this happen to you too? has something changed?
Thanks to anyone who wants to answer me.
-
Cant say im impressed.
Most of my 4k clips are now priced the same as my HD clips and at 29gbp which is significantly less than those same clips sell for regularly before the change.
-
I don't get the 'large return Enterprise customer' argument... They're a large enterprise, so plenty of budget to spend, they're returning customers so obviously they like what Pond5 is selling, and still they're practically giving OUR assets away for dollar bin prices...?

Recently I've been uploading regularly to P5 but they are breaking new records in how often I don't even reach the payment threshold.
Back in the days I used to earn hundreds of dollars every month and now my last payment of only around $50 was way back in July.
P5 is just going down hill for me.

Same here. I make more on literally every other site I'm on, even DT and DP. For the year I am at $38 on P5. I'm usually in the 1200-1500 keepable range.

Since Shutterstock have taken over the place has slumped. Someone might ask how big my port is but that doesn't explain it because looking back to 2022 (when I had around 1/3 of videos on the site) I made 56% more earnings from June to September (four months) in 2022 compared to June to September 2024 and 188% more earnings from June to September 2023 compared to June to September 2024... noting Shutterstock did own Pond5 back in 2022 but it's just taken some time for their 'magic' to work.
-
I got 0.08 in dataset earnings on the third, so I think I'll treat myself if I can find anything that cheap.
-
I had almost $600 in datasets and I haven't uploaded anything since 2020
-
got $70

How are your monthly earnings been going on Pond5?
-
$75 to $150 per month for the latest years
-
Great to see some decent commissions come in on Pond5 this week....
-
Price was set to $139. No comment.
i had same problem - i contacted support and they changed all my image prices to a much more reasonable price
-
What exactly is the nominated price boundary which currently determines whether clips are re-priced as $39 or $149?
