I'm not sure why it's not in the microstock poll results, I guess because it's graphics and not photos.

Anyway if you want to make money from your art please look at Clipartof.com they are looking for artist. EXTREMELY easy to deal with!!
They are a midstock. You name your price and 50-50% cut. And you can price your own work.

Go to http://www.clipartof.com/info/contributor_agreement.html take a look

I've been with them 2 and a half months and made $500!! They have just finished uploading my 2000+ images and have been told I will easily be earning over $1000US a month,

Talk to Jamie she is great.

You will not be disappointed. Illustration only. vector and jpg.

I've done zazzle, iclipart and similar..... NOT EVEN CLOSE.

Do they, by any chance, pay a referral bonus?

They do. But they do not have an affiliate program.

I have 2 reasons for posting this.

First is to help artist trying to get a foot in. (and get a good rate instead of a few cents)

The second is that the owner has bent over backwards to help me. I sent her zip fies and she loaded them tagged them and keyworded them,

Oh yeah, she converted then to AI version 8 eps and created the pgs as well.

If you know any other sites that do this PLEASE let me know.

BTW I have fibromyalgia and there is no way I could have done this myself.

Far enough?

From the website:

"About Us
Thanks for stopping by ClipartOf.com! ClipartOf.com is owned and managed by Jamie Voetsch and Kenny Adams under Image Envision LLC.
We started out in this industry knowing nothing. After years of working for another library, we fell in love with our jobs and branched out on our own. We now have an internet empire of over 200 websites, most of them revolving around photos or clipart.

We represent over 40 artists scattered around the globe and encourage them to "go for it" and be on their own. We strive to give them the opportunities to where they can make a living doing what they love and to be financially stable enough to quit their full time jobs. We allow them to pick their own pricing, build discounted collections, and create images as they please. You will get quality clipart images direct from our artists.

We never outsource to other countries for jobs, like many online businesses, and you will get fast, personalized customer service direct from Jamie herself, either by phone or email.

So relax, have fun, and enjoy browsing our amazing and humorous clipart library."

Sounds interesting. I will take a closer look at the site this weekend. I have a lot of bitmap illustrations and graphics.

Both sell well.

Thanks to Dennis for alerting us to this but wondering if there is anyone else with any direct experience of selling there who could give their experience.

Take a look at the names in the "portfolio" list and drop them an email.

And Yes I have a lot of images up but plan to have thousands more. That's just the tip of the iceburg

With what I have already I expect to make an easy $1000US a month

Just saw the post asking for anyone else's experiences with Clipartof.com.  I've been with Jamie and Kenny for almost 2 years now and have been averaging around $1000 per month for most of the last year.  I worked with them both when they were with the previous agency and followed them to this site and have never regretted it.  Jamie will bend over backwards to help out with anything and she even does the key wording, etc., I just upload and they take care of the rest.  They even featured my work on a website that they put up and maintain, how can you beat that?  The income from their sites have eclipsed any other stock site that I've been affiliated with after the first few months!  In a business where 99% of the start-ups fail within a short time, Jamie & Kenny have the magic touch and have worked wonders!  I would work with them in any endeavor they start and would feel privileged to be asked!

Hi yalls,

The above posts haven't even scratched the surface on just how good clipartof.com is. Its been my personal gem of a site and I haven't told many people about it. I think its close to two years now I've been with them, if not two years.

I can't make my earnings on clipartof.com public in this forum, but if you want to send them an inquiry Jamie is certainly welcome to let you know what I'm averaging monthly if you are interested.

Its also surprising to see them being talked about on this board. They are definitely much different than microstock sites in the way they function on a personal level, and Jamie (and the unsung hero Kenny) are both wonderful people to deal with. I don't think of them as a microstock site.

There are other benefits with clipartof.com:

One you guys will really like -- They don't reject your submissions. For some reason (and this probably sounds ludicrous to other sites out there) they actually give you the benefit of the doubt that as an accomplished artist you might actually know what your doing! So if you submit something unorthodox or dare I say "not suitable for stock" under the general consensus, they are still happy to take it no harm done.

They are stable

They sell your images in sets and as part of other sets. Again, no point in going into depth on a public forum, but it works.

There are other benefits to being there I probably shouldn't name right off the bat in a forum, but to make a long story short, these guys are a true gem.

I've referred a few artists, but two in particular who are well known in the microstock community. They've also found it to be a gem among the sites of this sort.

Yes Leo,

Jamie classes it as a midsock. Unfortunately I have not found similar. I don't think I will.
