Jamie will bend over backwards to help out with anything and she even does the key wording, etc., I just upload and they take care of the rest.

Do you mean that they actually keyword submissions themselves, that is, contributors cannot choose their own keywords?...

No I'm saying that is what I did. I have a chronic illness and find somethings hard to manage.

If you want to keyword, tag or whatever it is entirely your option.

Ah, I see. That's cool then, though one thing is not clear for me:

why under the images, in the section "image tags", some keywords (or "tags") are clickable and lead to new results, while others are not?... :)

:-[ I just got emailed back and they are looking for vector artists. I don't feel up-to-par with my vector skills, so I mostly do raster.

Guess I'll just have to work on it over the summer and then try again.

You mean they are looking ONLY for vector artists? 3d illustrations do not count?

Hi Thanks Dennis for letting me know about clipartof...
Jamie just made my account ready for use...
Indeed great and quick respons and help from Jamie....

Some info for all about IRS form:
Yes you have to fill in the W8BEN form but you don't need to fill in the ITIN number.

Hope my vectors are quick online and ready for sale...

Ask them :)

I'm not 100% up on all they do. I also have fibromyalgia and don't think clearly on technical stuff.

Dont let that illnes make you belive theres things you cannot do.   You seem to blame every thing thats a bit hard or boring on fibromyalgia.  ( A bit hard to understand, and Im sure youve heard it before)

My body also screams after two hours keywording.   If it makes you feel better :-[    Your a great artist btw :)

Do you know what fibromayalgia is?  It's cost me my 20 year marriage, my house and 90% of my life.
It's not things I find boring or hard. IT'S EVERYTHING!

My mothers got it.   Noone really knows what it is it seems.  Its so many things...

Im sorry, I shouldnt have wrote the previous post but,    Ive just heard so many times (from my mother) how hard things are to do. When things she enjoys is easy,  and works like a charm.   Your issue may be total different, and I appologize for not be able to shut up.

:o Maybe in the short periods she feels well she spends it doing something she enjoys? Wouldn't you?
Try looking at it from her side. She complains because it totally drains the life from you. :(

I love to draw and create. Today I was not even able to do that.

AND I was not complaining I was explaining.

I like these and the majority could be created in illustrator. Have you used autotrace
in illustrator?

I haven't used autotrace with illustrator... I have been dinking around with inkscape a bit... I do have some cowboy illustrations that I just finished that I was thinking I might be able to save each color layer and then combine them in inkscape and then convert them into a vector... I know that there is a way to convert them, I'm just unsure how right at the moment. I am open to any suggestions and brainstorming anyone wants to throw my way...   ::)

Inkscape is a toy. In illustator you auto trace straight from your black and white scanned images. If you are serious abot vector, get illutrator even an early version and Adobe streamline would do.

Some sites (such as istock) have problems with images that are clearly auto-traced (particularly if they have not been cleaned up a lot and stripped of excessive nodes). You might want to keep that in mind if you ever plan to apply there.

Seems like there is a positive vibe about this website.  But I want to make sure.

I have been communicating with Jamie via email, has she communicated with everyone else via a gmail account?

I'm a little worried about giving up account information to someone corresponding for a website through a gmail address.

Thanks.

Hi,
You have prominant contributers giving feedback.
If you look through their (clipartof) portfolios you will see some popular artist.
If you think it is a problem simply as her why.

I personally don't see your point. If you look at the bottom of their home page you'll see certain information on certification.

This is not a huge funded company like the micro sites here.

Dennis can i make you a personal question?

Do you have anything to do with clipartof or you just try to referral some people there?
Dont get my wrong but in my opinion you are trying to get some extra money by referral some people (and i dont see anything wrong with it).

I sell my art on clipartof. I think they have a good site and offerer a VERY good deal for artist. (Don't you?)  I have no affiliation appart from selling on their site.

They need artists and by way of paying them back for the help they've given me, I thought I'd inform people.

The more artists they have the more business they will get, as will I.

Make sense?

Please don't take this as an insult but not everything is about the $.

If I can help people I will.

From a business point of view dont make sense!
From the point of view of helping people, yes make sense!
Dont get me wrong, if we are at this site is because we accept to change info with people that are our  adversaries.

Im only curious about your relationship  with the site, but you can also doing something that can be bad for you. The business get the same and the money must be divide for more people?
