I think it's awful that you have to help them promote their business in order to keep a miserable 10% royalty rate.

How is cafe press going for you?
I knew a lot of people who were not making money there... Have things improved?

Thanks for the help, guys! That put me back to the 10% so I really appreciate it. As for how it is going for me, I really hate that they make us jump through hoops just for 10%. I much prefer Zazzle and have royalty rates there from 15% - 25% with plenty of sales. But since I put so much work into Café Press and many of my items have gone "viral" and get a lot of sales, I do what I need to in order to keep the 10% since sales are going pretty well.

Cafepress is a complete scam of a company. I received only 5% commission, reached one payout and closed my account with a $5 balance owing. Being the thieving company they are they obviously kept that stating they charge $25 to close an account. I hope they go bust and disappear. I do much better at zazzle where I have set my commission to 18% and can make more in a day than I did after several months with cafepress.

Could not agree more. No one should be working with them. I'm not a huge fan of Zazzle these days either, but they're far better than Cafepress. Of all of the POD sites I prefer Redbubble.

Mike, you prefer RedBubble? For now I really only upload POD to FAA, Zazzle, and RedBubble, and if I had to rank my normalized income, it would be FAA: 1, Zazzle: 0.4, RedBubble: 0.05. It's almost nothing. Are your results different? The main thing I prefer about them, and really the only reason I keep uploading, is that if you put a link in your description and submit it to some of the galleries, google analytics counts all those as legit backlinks.

Closed my Zazzle account earlier this year after they essentially forced everyone to 15%. CP is just a ripoff, there's no other way to spin it. Sorry OP but I'm not doing anything that helps either of these companies continue to make money. They need to go away and be replaced by something better.
