Is anyone using this? I'm confused about that, what exactly does it do? Shows my products in my Facebook page?

I tried to set this up, and couldn't get it to work. I intend to take a second look at it sometime, not soon though.
I do intend to set up a Squidoo lens soon. I have had good sales from my greetings cards from Squidoo links. I have just taken my down to renew and refresh it. A lot has changed since I set it up! My big project this weekend is working on Squidoo, it pays off.

I have signed up on Squidoo. Dont know when I will have time to write though. Does Squidoo really help pull in sales? If it works then I guess I can also promote the stuff I have on Deviant Art.

I see a lot of people talking about "Squidoo lenses" in Zazzle forum.  I wonder if this is so profitable.  I have a bad feeling about Squidoo because I have found watermarked images of mine there...

I also see people having collective lenses in Squidoo - I suppose one starts it with one subject and the others reply with their products on the same line.  Maybe we could do that here, like the iStock lightboxes?

Is it possible to use the flash panels in Squidoo?

madelaide, I set this up on my facebook page. It took me a while to get it to work, but it puts 4 images in the left column of your page (under your friends). When you click on an image, it takes you to that product's page on zazzle.

I still don't have that Merch thing going right... but I did make a Squidoo Lens thingie to see if it makes any impact on traffic to the store. Got Google Analitics going so I can watch for it.

I am not a blogger type but here is my attempt at the "Lens if you want to check it out.

That's nice, LSD, looks much better than most what I had seen before at Squidoo - maybe most people only use the very basics.  Is the Amazon Books link something you added your self, or an auto thing from Squidoo, like Google Ads?

When building the lens...there are modules you can add. Thats one of them. I just specified the subject like a search...then let Amazon pick the books or I could have picked. It's easy once you get a couple of these things built. Even better is when you get the hang of it...go back to your first ones and bring them up to speed.

Let me add...if you want to make a little bit from your squidoo... you need to add in the modules. When you publish it might prompt you to add more. Split your text into a few different text modules and in between them add the ads.

That's a full tutorial, thanks for that.  I may try writing one "lens" this weekend.  I really dislike the name "lens", as it seems so unfit (even with the given explanation).

No Problem. I have not even looked at the tut yet. Since you can make micro money with this and it supposedly can help our POD Accounts... maybe if enough of us do them...we can add a section here sometime in the future.

Just google "Money from Squidoo". I am still not sure how it works but somehow you can make money off just the "Lenses". Maybe like affiliate type stuff. That might be why Zazzlers are eager to help promote others items on Squidoo.

Looks good. The only thing I would change for this one is in your Zazzle mod...show 9 Products if you have them instead of the 3.

If you want possible affiliate income... add a section from Amazon somewhere and Ebay also. If you dont care about that..then dont worry about figuring it out yet.

My 3rd Lens is up but I am going to Pimp other sellers in there too. Got a Message up for Mouse pads in their forums "Time for me to Pay it Back". SO..if you got mousepad...find the forum and add your pads in that thread. Edit...its in the Zazzle Forums.

Get the other MSG'ers makeing Lenses for their Zazzle stuff and we can start Pimping each other too.

I have Amazon at the end (after the feedback). Should I move it further up?

Is there a way to disable "infolinks"? They show things that are totally unrelated...  For instance, for "christmas ornaments" it links to "download tunes for your cell phone".   :-\  Maybe it's a problem for the ads in Portuguese (the infolinks appear in Portuguese for me).

Hmm, we'd better start a Squidoo thread here.

I might have found something for you to look at about removing those ads...

http://www.potpiegirl.com/2009/07/how-to-get-the-ads-off-your-squidoo-lens/

She has a section just for Squidoo and I am finding some tips and stuff I didn't know about on there. If it's true or not...who knows.

Thanks for the link.  If you find a way to further customize background, I would appreciate knowing that.  I think only the green one had the colored sides, which I like best that a full white page.
