Title: POD Sites Survey Opinions Question #2
Post by: RacePhoto on March 20, 2012, 14:08
Fair enough, what's the return? You can list your favorite site if you want? But no way the poll will connect to who you are or what you posted above, unless you want it to be known.

Added the does not apply just in case people want to vote their opinion.

I am in the $25 to $50 range, which is more than any of the micros with my 200-300 images in them. And these past months my sales in micros have been shrinking considerably. I had 3 sales in IS this month.

I get around a $100/month. I do no promotion and haven't upload anything for ages, but I did create loads of products using auto create when I started. The ones I spend ages on designing seem to sell no better than the cr*ppy auto ones.
I don't feel like I have got a decent return based on time put in compared to if I'd spent the same amount of time on micro stuff.

Nice to see a couple of people doing well with these. Nothing is easy, but when someone like you, works hard and gets some repeat returns, it's not just encouraging, it's nice to see someone else succeeding. Good Luck!

I don't do micro (well, I tried it twice :) )  so all my time is spent on Zazzle, which is more what I'm cut out for anyway. It is hard work, and full time more or less - 2 years so far, but my best month so far was over $600. It's the sort of work I've always done, but without the client hassle. I hope by next year it'll be up to earning a living standard.

A killer Gill and enjoyable reading. Nothing I like better than people who get the rewards for their efforts. There are many here who do well on micro and the fact that three people say they do well on POD sites, is a big surprise. Someone I know who's very talented and hard working and a long time micro person, doesn't make $100 a month on Zazzle. (at least I'm pretty sure that's what she said last year when it came up)

Whoever the other two are, congrats to them too.

If I make one payout on Zazzle before 2013 I'll be pleased. LOL

good polls I personally don't do any POD-stuff and probably will not have the time to do so, but interesting to see anyway.

congratulations, the hard work sure is paying off, I am doing quite "good" at zazzle too, on the 100$ per month but I dont spend much time there, time to time I do some, thanks for sharing, would love to check your store too
