I'm new to RB and I'm in shock - sales go like crazy! Didn't expect that  :o
In comparison with FAA I'm with them as well and sold nothing in many months.

Do you have success with RB? How is it going for you?

I am really sorry Ariene but you have sold 2 items (since June 2014), which is far from going crazy, I believe you need to wait a little longer before drawing such conclusions

that said FAA is also delicious

Weird... I got more emails from them and I have more info on my account... Wherever you see the numbers, must be old...

I actually do better at Redbubble lately than Zazzle. Although that's not saying much since sales at Zazzle are pretty much non-existant lately.

The one thing I don't like with Redbubble is that sales are mostly small items, especially stickers. I think I've had just one t-shirt sale. But lots of stickers.

stockastic

Never sell anything there despite hundreds of views on an image.

I wish RB had more activity. I'm surprised they're not more popular already. I think the overall quality of work at RB is much higher. Other places are cluttered with a lot of junk and cheesy designs.

you posted them on FB, 1st one on September 13th

Ariene

Yes I did :) But I won't post every each single sale... :) Those you saw are the first. Then emails started...

I tired rb a few years ago - a lot of work (you need to become active in their forums, submit to groups, etc) for meager results -- a few low value sales;  I closed my acct a few years ago

yes, they were slightly better than zazzle or faa, but that's faint praise!

Handful of sales in two years, but they're a pain to upload to as they don't read IPTC.  Apparently that's deliberate to stop people mass uploading every snap on their harddrive, but there are better ways to prevent that (even FAA is theorectically better on that score, although the flakiness of their upload system negates that).

stockastic

Yes, not reading the IPTC is a big reason I quit uploading there.  And that was years ago.  RB is another cash machine on autopilot, it will never change.

I'm starting to close accounts at non-performers and at agencies that have just lost their direction.  I closed out at IS quite a while ago.  Today I closed at Zazzle, and RB will be next.  At the end of the year, barring some miracle, I'm giving up on Alamy.

After next few months I'm surprised to see even few sales daily here on RB (even with my mark-up up to 200%). Today got almost $40 net, yay! I've had over 100 files for few months since joined and last days I uploaded (yeah, no IPTC is a real pain, but I have my system to fast copy/paste) hundreds of new stuff... Effect? That was really good time investment! :)
In comparison to FAA, still there's nothing to compare as stuck with zero sales with FAA.

Hi Ariene, these 40 bucks you said "Today got almost $40 net", are that you made a day, or "Today" you withdrew $40 as a monthly income or year income at RB?
