So there's Zazzle, Ebay, and similar places but in my experience the buyers there want cheap stuff like $1 magnets which isn't worth the time to bother with.
What places do bigger spenders buy stuff at? Like canvas wraps or things that are over $100.

FAA is doing well for me, average of 56 euro per purchase but you can set your own prices per size and you get 100%. 35$ for unlimited uploads, they do the printing and shipping and they offer loads of marketing tools as well.

many of my FB "friends" report tons of sales in FAA (fineartamerica) and yep big frames, mostly are very conceptual pictures but sometimes pretty usual stuff too, never had much luck myself! in zazzle I do sell some and they are priced at close to 30$, the usual commission % is at 10 but I push it up to 30

All I got from FAA was nice comments on my stuff. I got featured on the front page as well (as much as you can get featured for a non-paying account...).
No sales.
Zazzle is doing very good these days. Had triple digit commissions on individual orders and I'm hardly doing any marketing (just a bit of Twitter every now and then).
I suck at marketing and I'm lacking the time for it as well...

Imagekind is my outlet. Not great but okay -- mostly vintage images of motocross.

Also, use them for some of the prints I exhibit.

If FAA contributors can comment on how many images they have online and how many sales they get in a given timeframe, I am sure many others would find this info very usefull.

they have a website feature that shows last 24 hours sales, never seen a report with more info, you can only have 25 pictures online, you need to pay 25$ per year to upload whatever you wish, I am still waiting for a sale, maybe I should change the subject I have decided to have there, pretty much travel oriented..

I have about 280 photos online, I joined end of April, had my first 3 dollar sale in June then nothing till October. I now get 3 sales a month, already 2 in December. Last sale was 78 dollar for me. I sold a few postcards, but also big canvas prints. Biggest one was 132 dollar for me.
FAA is known to have a slow start, but I am seeing it picking up nicely now.

I'm experimenting with FAA but the few sales I've had have been smaller regular prints. My monthly RPI is maybe 5 cents so not that great.
I'm also trying Etsy but it's a pain. They don't allow drop shipping so you can't use a print house and just send the print directly. You need to physically have the product and ship it which creates extra work and drives the cost up quite a bit.
Tried Imagekind and never sold anything.

Do you guys put your RM images also in FAA for sale or just microstock images and find art pix ?
What about smugmug or photoshelter ? Any one doing well salewise in these two sites ?

We have bought POD and short editions from Yellow Korner (http://fr.yellowkorner.com/) and from The V&A online (http://www.vandashop.com/). Also from Etsy.

Photoshelter is a pretty good system but they do zero marketing to buyers. They provide the platform and it's up to you to get people to your site.

Any idea how much discount one can get for registering a new account in Photoshelter ? and how?
