Shutterstock is dead for me as well, I have 20K+ videos and $10 in sales this month, but randomly got a $400 sale today, so that reminds me of the old times and gets me to $410 then  :-X

congrats on the big sale.  are you still sending them new files?

Well, I have them anyway, so why not I guess. But to be honest, I am lagging in uploads, cause of the 100 videos per week upload limit.

No sales for 2 weeks at Shutterstock (with 20K videos), used to make multiple sales a day  ;D

As per my front page:

"Complete your tax form to continue uploading
Beginning March 2026, any contributors who do not complete their tax forms will be restricted from uploading any more content."

My tax form is already submitted for > 4 months with 4 reminder emails, no-one checks or approves it  ::)

What a mess  ;D

Company, which needs to be send via email unfortunately

Is it the online one for individuals, or a company one that you need to send in? The online one should get approved instantly and, if that hasn't happened, something is wrong and you should submit it again.

The one for business, which needs to be send via email it looks like, maybe I need to convert back to individual  ;D

First time ever when at this time at the month even tho I am level 4 on SS after 1st week, AS is passing SS on income overall with 3 times less sales.

But then you're not including the end of month payment from the unlimited downloads which I assume is quite consequential with the size of your portfolio. For me, that payment makes up for the drop in other sales.

For me, shutterstock has dropped 80% year on year. I still have no access to the unlimited model, so this is hurting me a lot I suppose.

Adobe stock is now making 5x more revenue with less content.

I recently discovered that one of my Shutterstock images is being used in a commercialized YouTube video. I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle this and would really appreciate your experience and advice.

My concern is whether the YouTube creator licensed the image at all. I'd be interested to hear how others verified this and whether you went through Shutterstock, YouTube, or both.

Is it not the entire point of selling pictures for them to be used?
Or was it an editorial picture used in commercial context?

VideoBlocks / Storyblocks Monthly Earnings

Anyone else seeing some crazy monthly earnings number for this month?

Bug or some AI payment?

FYI, I did a quick search and Adobe has 41M non AI videos for sale, and now 91K videos in the free collection, so they chose 0,23% of the video collection on average.

I have about 1% selected, which resulted in only +-$700. Not much more than last year, even though portfolio has grown meanwhile
#13
Give it some more time, I think it will be available this Friday or next Monday

I can't complain either.

What I can say is that earnings from the unlimited plan is increasing every month. I wouldn't be surprise if it will soon be the main earnings for contributors who participate in that model.

It doesn't really bother me.

Actually, now since my entire portfolio is available for unlimited download on SS, I will upload more videos on artlist that i didn't want to upload previously to keep them more exclusive on SS and AS. So I will further increase my earnings on Artlist which is a great earner for me. I make the same amount of money on Artlist as on AS and SS with 10 times less videos.

I am still not able to opt in to the unlimited subscription, sales still down 50% since that was announced

Looks like it might only be for teams plans so far : https://stock.adobe.com/teams

I made nearly $500 lately in 1 month, which is near the top of my all time best, even though we suffered a 50% drop in payout rates since this year

They uploaded the doors to a lot of new contributors I believe, I see for some search terms that +-30-40% of the clips are "new".

I also monitored the daily increase in clips, which is about 0,33% daily. So at this rate the catalog doubles every year.

This is why many systems seem to fail due to overload

Same, very annoying

I am happy, now I pay $240 per year for Premiere, at least that is saved this year  :)

I am really surprised with the amount of people uploading so little numbers. Some of you must be more active on this forum than on the actual production of content  ;)

All looks normal here  :)

Had a $300 video last month, my highest so far.

I always hit the limit every week for videos...

I would like it to be 100 per day as it was before.

No, I produce more than that, currently about 700/month (commercial and editorial)

But I only started uploading to Adobe about 1 year ago. I was long time at SS and P5 because I do mostly editorial. But I realized that I already had quite a bit of commercial footage as well, so started on Adobe.

I often upload converted verticals as well as the original horizontal.

When a horizontal gets stuck, so does the vertical  8)

They took 70 of my aprox 4000 clips.

Not so bad, it will be my highest payout on adobe (only contributing for just under a year)

But let's see if we get more.
