finally thing are getting better again.. this was best week since the end of march.. lol
i used to make near 200usd/week.. now i'm celebrating a 140usd at AS 😅😅
anyway, good week was due a 30USD video sale.. i started focusing more on real life videos this year, and its worth it.

so i stopped uploading photos after de rejection madness. and for the last 2-3 weeks i've been uploading only videos, which have a better approval rate. so i'm seeing my rank/sales improving again. maybe the low approval rate i had during the rejection roulette time made me drop from ranks 1500-2000 to around 4000. and now i'm back at 2900 with 22 sales today. videos port still with only 600 files, but it is helping the photos to sell again i think.

I think it's done with an AI analysis.
I don't like the way Adobe Stock has been working lately.
It favors quantity over quality. It favors AI spammers and penalizes traditional photographers and illustrators who spend much time on their creations with absurd rejections.
Gave it a +. Great post. AI analysis 100%. It shouldn't be surprising considering they are software company and overall direction their stock platform has taken.
It is hard to argue against Adobe; I contribute to 5 agencies and most months Adobe generates more revenue than other 4 combined. In addition they have to fight endless streams of content pouring from everywhere. But there are problems. AI is nothing but a dumb tool that can't accomplish everything right; never did and never will.
I repeat again: How did that over-spammed portfolio get accepted. Here's the link again

Please click on it. Scroll down and see all the shells. Who accepted this?? Why don't AI software run against existing portfolios and identifies such things; I am sure there are many. AI still should not reject anything, but notify human who can then easily take action. Why is more information not posted here? When Matt was here at least there was proactive action, and correction when necessary; how there are just announcements, for which chain emails would suffice.
I doubt anything will change. As long as that shell portfolio is still available, for my money there are doing it wrong. Period
we all miss matt. raul only post stuff and run lol. and his job is to make good contact with contributors.

but new files are not comming in. all i wish is adobe to be clear on what's going on!
i just got 100% rejection, photos and AI. why? weird. i have 6 years experience contributiong and follow all the rules. maybe its time to focus on real videos now..

my main goal for microstock in 2025 includes quitting my regular job. i already make more from stock than i make in my job, but i need to get strongers earnings in microstock in general before i can make this move.. sub goals: -reach 2000 videos (actually only a 100..  ) -1 photoshoot/week fo at least 100 images (can do it) -keep uploading A.I. (if you cant beat them, join'em) -travel and get some stock from it (already did it in 2024 and sold over my expectations)

today was a slow day, especially in the us. about 40% less than yesterday or monday.
yes, it could be a normal fluctuation, but I guess i need to upload much more for the us market.
things also slowed down here.. but ranking not changing much. maybe everybody is going slower? this week download (until friday morning): 194

meanwhile i'm 'moving down', just a bit (was 1270 last week)
fun fact is: i'm in a higher rank than you, but i have less downloads than you, lol.
this only makes me thing that is true that the weekly rank in based in the last 7 days (when i was having an average 60-70 daily downloads last week, and now i'm back to 'normal' download average of 40-50 in this week)

Fantastic result, congrats!
My goal was to reach around 200 files a week by mid October. Didn't quite make it, last week was 167 downloads.
Sunday was unusual with 12 downloads.
Moved up a bit again.
pos 2920, 6470 files
By end of October I hope to reach 230-250 downloads a week. Let's see if that works. Overall I hope to again double of what I earned last year this month. However at the moment I am on track to earn around 50% more. So there needs to be quite an uptake in the next 2 weeks.
nice, cobalt! more files, more profit! some ppl say it is not true, but it think "hey, if i never uploaded it, i'd never sold it"

took 3 days off to travel from friday to sunday. this monday morning when i came back and checked last week results, i saw my portfolio on my best weekly rank ever! super happy.

Anyway,I've had the exact same number of sales for 4 months in a row,and this will probably be the fifth,and very similar to every month since the beginning of this year.
this year i see a little increase every month, but i'm working like 12 hours/day on my port since february(when i used to make just around 100 bucks in a month). the last 'bar' is due the contributor payout. if the competition is working hard, i like to worker smarter xD.i'm using tools like 'metaphoto AI' to auto generate keywords to my photos to speed up the process, so i focus more time on the fun part.. shooting, editing, etc. so i more than doubled my port this year! if everything works like i planned, next year i'm quitting boring office job (well, maybe i will have to start working 16 hours/day lol)

yes, its like a pro photographer using a 100$ camera and a newbie using 5000$ gear. you who is going to make the best result, the newbie cant recreate the same result the pro guys had.
give AI in the hands of someone doing stock for 10 years, and the same tool to these guys that started now.
lets use the best thing we have.
time and experience.

people want to make money in a creative market, but they are no creative enough to create their own ideas/design so they copy. for these people is just a matter of time to quit/get banned. (also funny to see in the facebook groups, tons of people daily crying bcuz they got banned).
we have control over 90% of the things we do daily
and 10% are not on our control.
lets focus on working on great stuff and growing our ports
remember that if someone if copying you, he is always one or two steps behind
