Okay, after having dozens of images rejected again after yesterday's submission with the reason 'The submitted work is too similar to the ones already submitted' and the Adobe discussion forum being full of it, I'm taking a break.
I don't want to risk Adobe classifying me as an AI spammer and banning me. I've invested too much time in this. So, all I can say is that Adobe can fu*k off if they don't want to make money with me. I don't need the money anyway, since I'm doing it just for fun.
So, in that sense, see you in the next months. Everybody good luck and success!

Following a brilliant performance last week (346 downloads / 324,30 USD / position 1000), this Monday was very mediocre with only 11 downloads and $9 in earnings.
Currently, I have 287 images pending in review and 209 uploaded images that still need to be keyworded.
However, the rejection rate has been brutal sofar. Adobe somehow fu*ked up.
To mitigate this, I've optimized my workflow by switching from Flux to Google's model, which has helped reduce generative errors.
I'm also using Photoshop's generative fill feature to touch up any remaining minor issues - a nice and helpful feature by the way.
Additionally, I've replaced Pixify with the Llama-4-Maverick-17B Image Describer and Keyword Generator, as Pixify's time limitations were becoming a constraint for me.
My strategy now is just to flood Adobe with unique content. I hope to increase my overall chances of success despite the current brutal rejection rate.

seasonal images can take up to 3 season to get regular sales. customers have very, very long planning times. you need to build up a following of regular seasonal image buyers and that takes a very long time.

Well Adobe could be a gold mine if there would be no algorithm / ranking shifts or rejection rates / deleting of images.
You can't plan with Adobe for the next months or years.
You can only try to squeeze the last dollars before the coming big collapse in some years.
2500 USD / month (just 625 USD / week) with 20000 images sounds very managable. One member named half_full is making 1000 USD / week with the same sized portfolio.
But I guess the problem is more that you won't upload that much content so fast as in the last years anymore because Adobe will increase massively the rejection rate.

I think the fact that they are cleaning ibrary is better,while you think it's not.
then you think about the great collapse that according to you will happen in a few years,I instead think that there won't be one,in my opinion there will be an evolution,not a collapse.
imo we are only experiencing a first phase,in which things have to settle down.
I agree instead on "no algorithm / ranking shifts" but unfortunately this is not possible,and you know very well why,but clearly this too can be improved and will surely improve in the future.
as for "rejection rates" it seems to me that the review have become more efficient and have already had a taste of the "evolution" I was telling you about.
we are in the midst of a microstock revolution,which until 3 years ago was a completely different job,imo nothing more than this.

Haha, very funny. Not. Are you already making money or are you just talking nonsense in this forum? If yes, just focus on your content and shut up? If no, let the adults finish speaking and shut up. I think we will actually see a big boom before the big crash. The problem is, the customers are still from the old generation. When the stingy greedy young TikTok kids grow up, the model will collapse because they will generate the content themselves. But I think we still have about 7 to 10 years to generate unique content and satisfy the old customers. So, we can still make some money. By the way, since today is a holiday, happy Easter!

Had even on a saturday today 31 downloads / 21 USD.
Regurally I have only about 3 to max. 5 downloads.
Broke the 300 downloads bar this week. Tomorrow should follow the 300 USD.
Already generated new content but I am afraid the most will be rejected again. Very demotivating ...

The rejection rate is also beyond absurdism.
I have now almost 1700 rejected images, about 1000 since last 3 weeks.
Absolutely ridiculous since my earnings and downloads increased a lot the last weeks and the rejected images have all the same quality like my best sellers.

easter holidays in many countries. schools and businesses closed.
If he doesn't have any easter content that would be a plausible reason. But I believe that Adobe also had some major ranking algorithm shifts.

Downloads and earnings are slightly time lagged.

Alone today 75 downloads and almost 60 USD are really strong. If I can sell more extended licenses again like I did two weeks ago, then I can aim the 300 USD per week goal.
I will now continuously try to diversify my portfolio with new content and reduce the rejection rate due to already similar images in the portfolio.
The good thing is, I still have almost 5,000 more unedited AI images that I need to upscale and upload. Realistically about 3,000 will be accepted, so my total portfolio will increase to over 10,000 images.
With that I should be able to consistently earn around 350 USD per week in the second half of the year.

In fact I was wondering about your portfolio and why it is so successful. You know, so we can learn a thing or two. So on Adobe there are multiple portfolios called Andrej. Each portfolio has it's own product/theme so it looks like the same producer uses different accounts for each category. Are you all of them? Or is this another Andrej.
Then another thing is that on LinkedIn you can find an Andrej S which is or was working for Adobe. Is that you as well?

No, I am not Andrei S., who works as a Sales Manager at Adobe, but it's indeed a very amusing coincidence. Regarding your question about my portfolio: When I search on google for my portfolio name, I find following API resellers. Some of them are https://www.europosters.ch, https://www.ukposters.co.uk, https://www.abposters.com, https://www.posters.pl, https://www.europosteri.hr, and https://www.posters.sk. Some of my images are referenced here. However, I doubt that anyone actually buys anything here, since my images only have 4 megapixels. On the other hand, I have sold some extended licenses that would be priced similarly to the poster prices. But I am not sure, since my content isn't suitable for posters. Another reseller is https://www.droitstock.com. This is the official partner of Adobe in China. My entire portfolio is linked here. I only discovered this yesterday, so my link can't have been up for long. I think a large part of my sales are being made through this reseller, i.e. the Chinese market. The increase in sales would also fit with this timeline. I probably just got lucky. \\\Edit: Stats of April 18th. \\\Edit2: Currently aiming to 300 USD (27 USD left). Tried out Google FX with some adjusted prompts for visual appealing looking. * this image model is so fu*kin good, almost better then Flux since the generations errors are almost zero. Yeah, it's the official Adobe partner in china. So I was lucky. This would also explain my increase in downloads and earnings. Probably I should do more chinese content, since the market seems to be very stable in comparison to the US.

I don't think contributors will abandon Adobe,simply because Adobe is the best agency,where else do you want to go? 
Unless you are exclusive to some exclusive agency,there are no better agencies than Adobe out there.
and I say this even though I'm a low-earner,but that's another story,that's my fault.
sure,I could earn more,but we must also consider that we are many,many Adobe Stock contributors.
There are problems?yes there are,but that doesn't mean they can't be solved,and I'm more than sure that they will be solved,just as I'm more than sure that there will be more problems,that's life!
at the moment there are still rejections for similar,but simply because at the moment things work differently than they will in the future,as new ways to manage the library will be found,and it will no longer be necessary to reject for similar,but more than anything for aesthetic or commercial quality of the content.
Let's try not to forget that it's always easy to criticize,and that we contributors don't have the whole picture,while the Adobe Stock team has a broader vision of everything,and that it's not easy to manage the enraged herd of contributors thirsty for sales!
In the meantime,I'm working hard in a completely new direction,my goal is to improve and modernize my portfolio.
I'm also a bit stressed by the long review times,also because I'm experimenting with a new production,and I would clearly like to move faster,at a time when unfortunately moving quickly is difficult.
I have to keep believing,I can't afford to give up.

Honestly, I think a lot of people do this on the side as a part-time gig because only a tiny fraction of top earners can actually make a living from it. If Adobe pushes it's luck further, a lot of good contributors will like me just tell Adobe to fu*k off and find something else to make money from. If you're not getting a decent return on your investment after a while or you get too many obstacles thrown in your way, you just quit. Simple as that.

That's about an obvious a stolen account portfolio as you'll ever see. The variety, the dodgy descriptions in bad English etc.
A very very quick search on one of my areas yielded at least 4 of my images on the first 3 pages.
Adobe makes money selling stolen photos (of course, the original author is never compensated), so isn't the company aren't the companies complicit if there's no anticipatory action taken from their part against this phenomenon?
Seems that Adobe is becoming the new Shitterstock. What a shame. Just try to squeeze the last $$$ before the collapse.

Seems also be the case that also the rejection rate increased extremely because of the same matter: too similar content.
It's like I said last year that Adobe will have to steer the mass floods of AI images and delete / reject much content.
But tragic that's also happening to real photos.

Something seems to have been drastically changed in the review process recently.
My rejection rate has skyrocketed over the past two weeks, even though I continue to pay attention to similarly high quality and the images sell well if they pass the review process.
It's really annoying that it seems to be going downhill again with Adobe. I thought we had finally overcome this...

today only 23 dl so far, but overall my rank improved a bit
very depressed with the latest declines. it feels like anything that will make money is kicked out and boring images with low sales value is getting in.
I have no control over my port, it is so depressing.
What's your earnigs / downloads trends the last 3 months? Upwards or decline? Have you uploaded new categories? I see for example in your portfolio that you have no architecture / interior or "green / environment business" topics. You have to try to diversify your portfolio since the algos are changing every few weeks. I would try to focus more on "super real" looking AI content and not AI illustrations or some random fancy looking fantasy stuff.

Lol, anyone who still writes their own keywords in 2025 is no longer up to date. Especially the good keywords require the most work.
The AI beats 99% of human keyworders. So just use it. I've already mentioned here on the forum one good provider.

This is very similar to Envato Elements with unlimited downloads for a low monthly subscription. In the case of Envato, Elements has basically killed the normal marketplace. I predict that on SS the unlimited downloads subscriptions will eventually replace the normal market and if you are not opted in you will see very few sales on SS in future.
This looks like a desperate move of SS. Not surprising and is probably the final phase of the microstock industry in the race to the bottom. I am sure others will follow this trend of unlimited downloads very soon in order to retain market share. Very sad.
If really also Videos are included in the unlimited downloads programm then the video market is really screwed up. That would be insane brutal for contributors. While I don't think that Adobe will follow this path because they have a strong base of customers. But all high quality SS contributors should then switch exclusively to Adobe to maintain Adobe's current system.
