I've just received $3.71 from unlimited subscribtion, even though I opted out immediately after I received the email.
Thats so unlogical, why would they sent money to you if you even opted out? well maybe to motivate you to opt in again.

Ok thank you but why is that, and how do you know it, is your FTP also not avaiable at the moment?

2400 selected I will not accept a single one. Not fair to have the same videos for sale on other sites and here for free.
Hear hear! $8 is a complete kick in the noids and so disrespectful. I am surprised there are contributors desperate enough to sell out for a pitiful $8. I am worth more than that and so is my content.
Exactly, everyone should imagen what would happen if we all disagree to that, they would have no files to give away for free, its like the president declares war, but no citizen is participating, that war will never happen. Remember your content is free for one entire year, not like a special black friday deal or somthing like that. I get the marketing idea, but its not really working anyway, because most people needing stock content know exactly what they need, so this can be a total waste of time for many customers by trying to search the free library but not finding what they actually need, and than go back to the main library and start the search at zero again. But for thieves this will not matter, they will take what ever they can especially if its free, because than they dont even risk a single cent if they cant sell it themself, a zero investment, with the possibility of making a decent amount over time. A very sad way of going through life, but some people just dont care. I hope that at least the one creating the content should care, and treats his work with selfrespect, because at the end of the day, if you dont respect yourself, nobody ever will.

participating in such free programs is even more stuped than offering your content on this unlimited agencies. I cant wait to soon read all the regrets again, that your content was sold by thieves, and you have no idea how that happend, and why you are seeing a decline in earnings because your comepting now against your own content which will be uploaded over and over again for ever. Its hard to believe how deluded some people are, not seeing the big picture.

Gladly i see that many of you are doing great with the higher prices on Pond5 now. So i thought i also share my experience i made so far.
Thanks to the new price testing i just had the best month on Pond5 i ever had in my life, because now all my clips are set to at least 149 I have a portfolio of more than 10K and inspired by blvdone i set my prices much higher even before the price testing of pond5 started, but not on all clips, but it already made all the difference.
So i wanna thank blvdone for his great inspiration, and being so open about it. Now that Pond5 sets the prices much higher on many clips, proves it even more. So i can only encourage everyone to at least give it a try, to see how it can work out for you.

From which agency do you suspect the person stole your content?
We should all keep an eye out for fraudulent accounts. Last month, I had Shutterstock close an account with more than 5,000 stolen videos.
Im always on the lookout for more fraudulent accounts with stolen content.
Having their accounts closed is satisfying.
You know exactly from whichsoever already, you joined one of them, your always asking the same question here, despite having the answer already, and your time investment would be much better used by producing good content and uploading it only to non-unlimited agencies, instead of spending the extra time trying to corrrect the mistake you made. Time is the most valuable thing right after your health, so you should use it accordingly

I was there like i told you, and you know already the negative outcome it had for me, so of course i m not there anymore. Remember how suprised you were when your content got stolen right away, despite us telling you that here over and over before that this will happen? But yeah people need to learn it the hardway, the person that was stealing your content has it now for ever, and will keep uploading it under new accounts for ever, and the rest of your portfolio will soon follow, and you will never be able to stop this for ever.

Is it possible to submit videos to freepik as well, or only pictures?

I think your project can work for sure, but like others said before, you need to bring something new to the table, otherwise why would someone use your platform instead of the existing well established ones that probably work better than yours at least for now. The easiest way for you to gain customers is by being free in the beginning, thats how i would do it, until my platform is established, and has an amazing user expierince. Good luck to you with your project
Hi stockart,
Thank you for your positive response and feedback. We offer the platform for free, you can annotate and upload 50 images a month just to try it out.
The added value is the combination of all the features, so you do not need multiple platforms. We also believe it works better already
Feel free to try it out! I can offer you a free account in exchange for more feedback if you want. Just let me know.
Have a great day.
Cheers, Cees
I do understand that, but if i want to upload a portfolio of 30K videos, 50 free clips want make a big difference right. But i welcome your idea anyway, we need more competition in that market so prices will come down.

P5 resurected after long droughts Im still thinking that your experiment is just councidence, because many contributors have seen signs of life on P5 for sure, P5 left as our last hope, with very lively AS
Are you seeing 40% revenue growth on Pond5 this month from last month with keeping the same price?
I just had the best months on P5 this year, i sell my content bettween 199 and 299, and i dont sell the clips at 199 not that much more often, so i will make all my prices for 4K at 299$ and i think you could also increase your port prices, at least to 199$ you would make more return over the whole year. But you have to test it for at least 6 months, because otherwise you dont get a clear view of it, because some months could be lower, leading you to the wrong conclusion, increase the prices for 6 months, than campare it to the last 6 months. Also make sure your prices for HD is the same or at least close to the 4K otherwise the customers might buy the HD clip.

unique means that the content is that speciel because only you offering it, in that case customers are willing to pay a premium price if its exactly what they need, because they cant get it anywere else.

I went exclusive with Pond5, and it was the best thing i could have done. Because i make much more now, than i ever did before. And the reason are the high prices, i sell clips at 299$ so that made all the difference for me. And nobody steals your content at that price thats for sure. So higher prices and the higher commission for being exclusive on Pond5 leads to a very high profits per sold video. Wish you best of luck
May I ask how many files you have in your port?
Sure, i have soon 2500 clips on Pond5 exclusive, just make sure to upload new content regularly. Here are my last sold files, i will test higher prices in the future as well, but so far 299$ works great for me, if you have somthing very uniq, you might even go to 500-700$ range.

Video sales for April: Pond 5: 2 sales: 255$ SS: 14 sales: 62$ AS: 7 sales: 68$ Videohive: 1 sale: 9$
Thats exactly what i was talking about, even if you sell much more clips for a low price, the total income with highpriced content is much higher. I sold 5 clips each for 299$ in the last 11 days, all exclusive on Pond5. So going all in exlusive with high prices on P5 worked out very well

Has anyone experienced copyright theft on material uploaded to Envato elements?
Yes it happend to me already 3 times, and one thief even had one of my videos as a best seller, thats how i actually found it. That clip alone sold for 71 times. And he will most likely upload it again under a new account name.

just keep going and hope to see that treng goes on further Im interested to see long term results from your strategy, because at the moment things on stock footage markets are not in our favor
You are right its not easy, but not participating in the race to the bottom has worked out for me, for only 1 high priced sold video, i would need to sell 15 low priced video to make the same amount. Thats just not happening.

Hi,
I wanted to share an unfortunate incident that happened with my content. After uploading some of my videos to Artlist, I discovered that someone had uploaded some of them on Shutterstock. I have already reported the issue to Shutterstock and requested them to remove my clips. The thief has a portfolio of 4,573 stolen clips at https://www.shutterstock.com/g/bismil048/video?q.
I am dismayed that this has happened to me, especially since I had only uploaded around 50 clips to Artlist. It is alarming how rampant this practice of content theft is on the platform.
I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with this kind of situation. Does anyone know if Shutterstock will only remove the clips I reported, or if they will also shut down the fraudulent account? I hope that Shutterstock takes immediate action to shut down accounts involved in such practices, considering the hard work that goes into creating quality content.
Daniel
Well i`m surprised that you are surprised, after all the stories you have seen happening here on the forum. Thats why i deleted all my content on the unlimited agencies, and still does thieves continue to upload my content, cause remeber once they have it, they will have it forever. Since you just startet you still have the chance to bring this to an end before the rest of your port gets stolen as well. But i know that from myself, sometimes its just not enough by seeing it happen to others, we somehow believe it will not happen to us, before it actually happens. But i still wish to be in your position, and not have my entire port stolen forever. I wish you best of luck despite what happend to you now, and if you look at it from the right perspective its actually positive it happend to you, because now you know its true and it will continue to happen if you upload to such platforms, so you can protect your content by making the right decisions in the future.

Well you can set the price in general to what ever you want, but if you sell your clips elswere for lower you will get an email from P5 with a friendly reminder to ajust your price matching the other prices again.
But i went exclusive with P5 1 year ago, with a port of more than 10K clips, and i make already much more than i ever did before, so for me this was totaly worth it, so i can only recommend it. Because if your exclusive you can set the price as high as you want.
And if you create some great niche content which i startet doing lately, the income is even higher.
Because its true, despite having the minimum prices on P5 they still sell content for much lower sometimes with special offerings which you cant control. The only way out of this is to be exclusive and price your content at least arround 99$ better 199$ and for realy uniq footage 299$ works as well.

Is it just for photos, or do they already pay for videos?
They pay for videos too now, i wonder for how long we can continue to make sales before AI will take over completly

As of today, I have almost 550 photos on FAA, and I have made over $12k there since I started in ~2014. I do not advertise, promote or cross-promote anything, I don't interact with comments and likes. My last FAA sale was two days ago (see below). The advertisement mentioned is not mine (this is what the FAA does, hence the deep discount).
Is that $12k profit or sales? As I know FAA will take a lot of commissions.
you don't know - FAA takes no commission - they set a basic price for a product and you add the amount you want to get when it sells
True
