Hi Everyone, After 11 great years at Adobe Stock (and Fotolia), collaborating with amazing contributors worldwide, I have decided to embark on a new journey within the team. I am pleased to announce that I have accepted a new role on Adobes Content Operations Moderation team as Moderation Coordinator. In this capacity, I will be working closely with our expanding team of moderators to assist in the process of evolving and scaling the moderation process at Adobe. This transition means I will no longer be providing direct support to MSG members, and my presence here in the Microstock Group Forum will be far less frequent than in years past. Since joining this forum in 2008, I have enjoyed every moment spent here. Your candid feedback and passionate approach to content creation and the community have been truly informative and inspiring. Thank you for welcoming me into this community over the years. I wish you all the very best and continued success in your endeavors.
Stay creative!
Mat Hayward

@cobalt - i sent him a message here on the forum but he didn't answered
Hi all, I am not able to provide support through private messages here in MSG. I have communicated this many times in the past and I have shared my direct email. Rod, in your PM you did not share your full name, or your account information. Even if I could provide you with support here, I wouldn't be able to look up your account since you are anonymous in MSG. You can send me an email to [email protected]. I cannot make any promises that I will be able to make any changes, but I will look at your account. I will never speculate or comment on blocked accounts in a public forum. For anyone else with a blocked account, your first step is to reach out via the contact us form in the contributor portal. When you hear back, be sure to follow the procedures outlined in the communication you receive on how to file a formal appeal. Thank you, Mat Hayward

hey Mat, thanks for responding. i keyworded and submitted these files 4.5 months ago. i will get you some file new numbers when the pagination glitch is fixed since I'm unable to navigate to the end of my lengthy review queue. i did send an email back in march regarding a few of these though and this is one that is still waiting: File ID: 743968048
Thanks for the file number. You are right, that is an image that appears to be stuck in the queue. You hold the record for the longest wait that I've seen. I'm sorry about that. I've forwarded it to our moderation team and asked them to take a look. -Mat Hayward

While review times for some have definitely been longer than they were in years past, I'm not aware of any review times at 5 months. 8 weeks is more realistic. The screen shot shared by the OP shows the date from the time the file was uploaded, not the time submitted. Most comments/questions I have fielded on this, it turns out the file was uploaded to the portal, then sat there for months without being keyworded and submitted. The actual review time is based on the day/time you submit the content, not upload it. I know that can be confusing since the wait time shown is based on the upload date.
Please share with me the file number you are referencing so I can see if that is the case here or not. If it has truly been sitting in the moderation queue for 5 months, there may be an issue I need to investigate.
thanks,
Mat Haywawrd

Some of you may not be aware of a relatively recent update the contributor portal statistics. If you go to your insights page, you can select the dropdown menu option "Other Payments". This is where you will see if money was deposited into your account for Free collection acceptance.
Thank you,
-Mat Hayward

I tried to set it up as it seems far quicker than Paypal but I can't get Adobestock to recognise the Payoneer account.
Anyone else use it and have issues or is it all good for you?
Payoneer is only available to contributors based outside of the United States. If your account is based in the US, you cannot submit payment requests via Payoneer. More information can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/getting-paid.html-Mat

e.g. https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/uploading-content.html
And it goes without explaining what "qualified" means.
Does anybody here have any experience with that?
As a reminder, you can now upload video content directly into the contributor portal using the drag and drop method into the blue upload circle. SFTP is not required for this. -Mat Hayward

I was wondering if we can go exclusive with them? If yes then what royalty do they offer?
You are welcome to submit to Adobe Stock exclusively! The royalty rate we offer is 33% for images and 35% for videos. I should mention, that is the same rate we offer to those who are not submitting exclusively to Adobe Stock also Sadly, we do not have an exclusivity program, but I think it's great you would consider it if there was! -Mat Hayward

Got my first custom $0.29
I am not aware of any .29 royalties being distributed at this time. Check your tax withholding statistics in the insights tab to see if you are paying withholding tax on any of your downloads. Thanks, Mat Hayward

I got a day full of 0.22$ ones today, quite weird...
I recommend you check the status of your tax form. I would speculate you are paying maximum tax withholding rates. You can check to see what is being withheld in the insights page of the portal. Click the withholding line item in the drop down menu. -Mat Hayward

Matt: Are we allowed to use Adobe Firefly 3 Beta (that was released today) to generate AI images to be uploaded to Adobestock?
Yes, Firefly Image 3 allows for commercial use, including stock submissions.
-Mat Hayward
Is Firefly web version part of creative cloud or do we need to purchase it as new? And does it gives unlimited generations or have any limits?
This information and more can be found in the Firefly FAQ linked here: https://www.adobe.com/products/firefly.html#questions-we-have-answersThe relevant answer to your question in the faq is that Your Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, Firefly, or Adobe Stock subscription now includes monthly generative credits that give you access to content creation features powered by Firefly. thanks, Mat Hayward

That's not good; I am puzzled that I've seen lots more of the $0.32 custom royalties, but nothing lower. I did note that today's royalty rate on the higher end custom royalties was up to $1.06 (from $1.05 for the last few days). Not back to the $1.37 from January, but still nice to see something going up instead of down
Do you see any of the $1.06 custom royalties?
Mat Hayward had written that the royalty rates for the unlimited subscriptions were calculated daily based on total purchase volume - which I would have expected to be the same worldwide, but perhaps that's not the case. I'm in the US; are. you? (I know people had said this isn't a tax withholding issue).
Yes, I'm not in US, so it's still puzzling for me, because the last 2 days I'm getting custom $1.06 too...
@bpawesome What is the image number? I'm not aware of any .28 royalties at this time. -Mat Hayward

Even with just one AI-generated pixel,do I still have to label the content as AI?
don't underestimate single pixels --after all, the sophons are omniscient proton-sized nanobots
the 3-body problem!:D ok you've definitely already seen fallout! I just recently saw that the 5th season of StarTrek Discovery is out, later I'll start the free trial via Amazon Prime, since i have already used the free trial in Paramount!
anyway yes,I wondered if something had changed since Mat's last livestream, however it would be interesting if we could have a checkbox for content where we can declare that the subject is real, because it's a shame to have to label content as AI if only an abstract background is added for example, who knows maybe in the future!
Here is the official policy per our learn and support page on generative AI about when to tag as AI and when it is not necessary. Does the use of Generative Fill and Generative Expand in Photoshop and Generative Recolor in Illustrator require labelling an image as generative AI?Label your image as generative AI when the use of generative AI tools in Photoshop or Illustrator changed, augmented, or added a new primary subject of an image. Examples when to label your image as generative AI:Generating new additions, such as a new person, animal, or object Adding new subjects might compromise the accuracy of an image Making significant adjustments or changes to a human subject in an image Recoloring the primary subject of an image Examples when you wouldnt be obligated to label an image as generative AI:Extending background for any reason Removing IP or other forms of retouching Removing distracting objects or people Recoloring the background of an image

Hi everyone,
We are announcing the ability to upload videos through drag and drop directly into the Contributor Portal. You will now be able to choose between drag and drop in the Portal or SFTP for your video uploads. We encourage you to continue uploading large volumes of video through SFTP for ease of submissions.
Let me know if you have any questions,
Mat Hayward

Is there a way when looking at your Adobestock port to filter it for AI content only?
No, search filters are not accessible when viewing profile portfolio pages. -Mat Hayward

We do not provide specific, detailed custom rejection responses as that would extend the wait time for moderation far beyond what it is now. I suggest you post a sample of content you feel was rejected in error here for impartial feedback from the MSG community. It's hard to see our own work through impartial eyes, you may get some feedback that you hadn't thought of before.
Good luck,
Mat Hayward
Hi Matt,
Here is one example of rejected image:

I appreciate you sharing the example. I'm not sure I understand the concept of this image however. If a customer were to purchase a license to use this image, what would they use it for? -Mat Hayward

Yes it's an old thread but just curious if the overall guidelines contained in here are still applicable or have there been any backend changes to AS/Search/Keywording in the meantime that we need to be aware of?
There have not been any significant changes to how search works at Adobe Stock. You still want to list the most important/relevant keywords in order of importance. The most impactful keyword should be first. The top 10 keywords have the most weight in your search results. Good luck, Mat Hayward

Hi Matt, Went to check now and I have 500+ downloads, and 30+ uploads in 2023. However, I did not get my redeem code. I went to double check my upload approval, and most of them occurred in January, even though the files were uploaded early December. Is this supposed to be like this? Do I not qualify because of that? I thought the rule was "images uploaded in 2023".
If you uploaded the files in December, 2022 and didn't upload any in 2023, you are likely not qualified. Please write to support using the contact us link found at the bottom of the portal and they will be able to confirm with you. -Mat Hayward
