I am thinking about smugmug. 15% of the profit is a pretty good deal with the services they offer. However from the few more decent sites that I have been able to find. None of them offer profit sharing for selling frames. At least I cannot findout that information without signing up. Seems strange that none would offer that. When its our photos that will be selling those frames. The frames can cost more then the photos. Any suggestions? I can do it with my own merchant account. However that sorta defeats the idea of useing a third party to free up my time for marketing and taking more photos.

I am looking for a website(s) to join to help me sell my fine art prints. The only site that I have found so far is deviantart. However they take such a large cut of the split when it comes to selling my content. That I would like to know if some others exist. Another problem with deviantart is that I have no idea how much of a split if anything I get. If a client decides to buy a frame thru deviant art. I am not looking for a microstock site. As most of these photos will be of buildings and/or people taken in public. I will not have a release for the buildings/people. I cannot sell them thru the microstock sites. I can however sell them if they won't be used for a commerical product. A keyturn partner to print and ship my prints for me would be another great site to work with. So I can just plug in my photos to my own website and turn a customer over to that other site to buy the print.
