Im wondering about the best timing for holiday uploads. I upload a small amount of vectors and since early buyers are fewer than those buying closer to the holiday, I worry that if I upload too soon, my images might get buried before the peak season.
Whats your strategy?
I have no strategy I think this is not really ,,strategy business,, but I think 4-6 months is ok but I have some last minute seller uploaded 1 month before holiday

I got the email and I have no idea which were removed. Because they could be buried in my pages of rejections somewhere.
Yes, absolutely buried.

How fast is the noise removed from the video, how many hours do you wait? How powerful is your PC? Why don't you use Topaz?
Around 7 minutes for 20 second 4K short clip Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10900K CPU @ 3.70GHz 3.60 GHz 64GB RAM Topaz is more expansive for video, I try it couple months ago. At this moment I do not need it.

Upload small batches is the way to go
tried that --
unfortunately ,if one file fails anywhere, any other batches also fail
Only batches all in the same queue. So drip up batches after each is accepted, if you keep getting fails. However, Alamy QC fails are pretty rare*, so maybe ask yourself (to OP) why you're getting them. *Actually Alamy QC is pretty rare, files usually get accepted as soon as submitted, so aren't checked, so long as you have a good track record. They seem to check random batches from time to time, or if I haven't submitted for a while, like months.
Yes I agree it was really very rare, I am with Alamy 20 years. I am accepted always next day after upload.

Last weekend I upload some images to Alamy, before if is one images failed all other images from same submission is also failed. Not at this time. One is failed but other stays online for key wording. I am not sure it was accidentally or no. I hope, they finally find out it was not smart way before.
If it fails for intake data, error or image size, the whole batch doesn't fail. If it fails QC, the whole batch fails.
As far as I see, no changes to the one fail, all fail rule.
It was Failed QC

maybe dreamstime or deposit or some of the other smaller places would be interested in expanding their range by offering a video marketplace where producers can set their own prices?
i think a lot of good quality content would upload there and perhaps bring some customers along.
but at least they have regular inspections of the content, which i think buyers need.
i dont think the video producers or the video market will settle into everything gets sold fofr pennies and producers lose control of prices.
I sold only 3 videos on DT and maybe 1 on DP for last 10 year. It was my low earner for images also. But I support them it was only 1 time per year payment.

I do think there will be a demand for a marketplace where producers can set their own prices.
But customers also want quality control, legal check, someone who reads the releases...can they provide that?
If they only take 5% what motivation do they have to market the content? They will not be making enough money to pay for marketing costs.
But I wish you all the best, the idea to look for a pond5 alternative is the right path.
Thank You cobalt, yes it was great if you can add your own price like on P5 before. I will see, this is not only one seller for me.

Are you trying to sell your content via yt or are you making money because people are viewing your content?
Do you really think I am trying sell you anything ? Sorry, NO for all. Maybe I am just different than You think.
You were talking about a market. A market is a place where you can buy and sell stuff. I guess you're not buying video footage, so probably you are a seller of footage.
Yes I am selling my footage and images like almost all people here. Something wrong if I am looking for new market?
What's your problem? I am just asking a normal question.
Problem? I just give it to you normal answer.
