BTW, Alamy has been having trouble with their "Measures" off and on for a while now. So a sudden loss of views and zooms may in part be explained by a technical glitch. But not a sudden drop in sales. 4

Even in these market conditions, with 31,000 images you should be making several hundred dollars a month.I absolutely agree with you and I don't understand how it came about. I'm going to assume you have 10 supertags for each image, and a full caption that includes most of those supertags. Try this: Put "BHZ" without quotes in a regular tag of any one image (not in the caption or a supertag). Do this for any other pseudonyms you have. Wait a day or two for the database to update. Search for BHZ. What page is your image on? If your image(s) is/are well back of halfway down the 33 pages, you're in trouble. I would suggest moving your best images (sold or zoomed) into a new pseudonym that should land you close to the middle of the field in terms of ranking. See if the zooms/sales of those images improve. Also check using BHZ. 5

With about 12,000 images at Alamy, they used to be my best portal. Same number of images at SS, but they were always my lowest earner.
With only about 8,000 images at AS, they started coming to Alamy income levels in 2022, and surpassed them in 2023. This month is telling: Alamy $19 SS $72 AS $254 And there are no large swings at AS, VERY consistent month to month this year (+/- $10). 10

Are we talking about pictures of the cover of a BILD newspaper? I always wondered about that, but Alamy definitely allowed that in the past as editorial content.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Agefotostock - has anyone heard of them?« on: December 12, 2023, 15:32 »
I did send them a Canadian citizen certification letter a few years ago, and they usually last 5 years. In any case that would mean they just withhold some tax.
I have sent them an invoice for each year of income according to their specs. I hear other people have similar problems. 12

I would advise you to stay away. They were doing OK a decade ago, but I have not been able to paid for several years now. Alfonso owes me several hundred dollars. I'm not optimistic.

A few images made it through today. Many rejected but for a new reason. Before it was "Quality Issues" (nonsense); now it's "Similar Image(s) already submitted". In most cases that's not true either - nothing similar has been accepted or submitted before (although a few had been submitted and rejected for "quality issues"). I'm going to try smaller batches.

I'm going to watch this space to see if AS stops rejecting batches of photography for "Quality" that would have passed before and consistently pass at other sites. Until then I'll pause uploads, as it is now a waste of time.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Rejections on adobe« on: June 13, 2023, 11:17 »
I can add my voice to the mystery of recent rejections. I had 8 rejected for Quality Issues. The explanation for not meeting their "standard" is: "Common issues that can impact the technical quality of images include exposure issues, soft focus, excessive filtering or artifacts/noise." Soft focus? I downsampled the 130 MB files to 60 MB (45.4 Mpixel to 21 Mp). Still, all were rejected again. I've never seen this before. Something has changed.
