I opted out for distribution sales a long time ago but I see these kinds of pathetic sales again. When I asked them (again) why they were still included they replied that it was probably "an error". Who believes them anymore! Hi Sebastian, My colleague Sabine in our Distribution Team updated me about some distribution sales in your Alamy account which shouldn’t have happened. I’m very sorry about this, I believe there was a technical issue with our API which meant that these images became available to a distribution partner. By way of apology, we would be willing to apply 100% on these distribution sales, so we’ll ask our finance team to recalculate and credit you for these sales. Thanks, ChantelleAnd no, I didn't get that 100%. It's already been a month. I had the same situation before.. They have become some downright embarrassing companies.

Hello, I recently bought a new Canon R5 from a Belgium website but the camera came from China (through a third supplier). Everything was fine until I tried to use the cloud function via the image.canon.com website. My camera is sending an email for registration in Chinese via "ciu.canon.com.cn" and I cannot switch to EN. After some research I understood that my only option was to change the PCB (more than 600 EUR). I asked the guys from Canon.be and Canon Europe, they checked the SN from my camera and, indeed, the camera was not made for EU market. They recommended me to send it back because most probably this camera comes from a "gray" market. I asked the seller and after a few emails they told me I could send it back and I would get my money back. My question is if the same thing happened to someone else and if he continued to use the camera. Do you think, regarding accessing the image.canon.com will be other issues with it? I bought it already at a very good price and I don't know whether to return it or not. The seller told me that I will have 2 years of warranty. I don't know if that could be the only downside (the cloud thing). Thank you for your thoughts

I began to study 3Ds Max for creating 3D models / images. What do you think, it's worth creating this type of media for selling (images) on SS, FT, etc. and models on turbosquid / cgtrader ? Maybe also creating some animation for selling like footage type .. Thx

I just received this email:
"In September this year we emailed you to notify you of a promotion offer that would be running on Adobe Stock, and that your commission would be unaffected and remain the same as usual.
After this successful initial offering we have decided to promote a first month free offer to encourage new members to Adobe Stock, which will be running from today, October 5th until October 30th. In addition we are also offering 120 free images to all MAX attendees, exposing your images to even more potential customers.
We wanted to inform you that regardless of this offer occurring, your commission will be unchanged and you will continue to generate royalties at the current rate."
What do you think ?

Hello, I tried to lift my limits couple a months ago but I have not succeed I sent to them all the paper (id's, credit card, and so on). I sent several emails but did not receive any answer. I attached a print screen with my account status. As you can see in the picture, at the top, is a message: "More information required to comply with EU regulations and lift your account limits" but I don't know what I must do Thanks !

Hello to all, I have about 800 - 1000 stock photos on all major agencies. My earnings is about of >100 $ / month. The time that I spend for photos is very short because, unfortunately, I must go to a "classic" job that I don't like it to much but the salary is more consistent (600 $). In March, on SS with my 800 images I sold more than 100. Do you think that it deserve to make only stock pictures and, let say, in 4 -5 month, if I will produce more and more similar images like I did till now, I'll rich my actual incoming from job? Thank you
