Why do I see 60$ for the first two "missions" - eating food and hands with food, and only 40$ for the bananas and flags "missions" ?
I also noticed a transcription error in the Italian language,for the mission of hands with food which is 80,but in Italian it is translated 60.
okay,maybe it's better if Mat,if possible,confirms what the exact amounts are for the missions.
However,I want to add that 60 for each single mission for bananas is fair,but in my opinion 80 for "close up of mouth eating food" is low,because it involves a whole series of other things in addition.

After this quote,I have two questions:
1-Can I upload a set of 500x5 times and get 5X money?(if so,things get interesting)
2-What is the difference between uploading 500 or 1000 images? What is the advantage of uploading 1000 in one set?
Thanks for the feedback everyone. To answer your questions @Injustice.... 1. Yes, you can submit 5 Missions. If they are all approved, you would receive 5 payments. 2. I can see no advantage to submitting 1,000 images in on Mission. It makes more sense to me to submit two separate Missions with 500 images each and receive two payments. Regarding the comments such as what @Derby said "it's absolutely not possible to collect 500/1000 snapshots in a few days". Respectfully, I disagree. It's important you don't confuse these photos with traditional stock photos. A big difference is that we encourage similar images. You can shoot up to 50 frames of the same setup by changing the general composition, focal point, etc. You can shoot these in JPG and upload them as-is straight out of camera. Obviously, you want them to look good, but you do not need to spend time doing RAW conversions or postprocessing. In addition, no keywords are required. In my workflow, postprocessing and indexing take more time than actual photography. I think you would be surprised what you can accomplish in a relatively short period of time. I normally request money at the end of each month, but this month I too requested a payout after the Firefly "bonus" showed up. I haven't yet been paid either. They say 7-10 days (I think - it might say 7-10 business days).
I can't request my end of the month payout until the earlier one is paid - you're not allowed to make a request if there's a payment pending - so I hope they sort this out next week.

If you use the filters "Vector" + "gernerative AI only", you get 120000 results. This is quite a lot considering that these files are not accepted.
I spoke to the support and they are probably going to fix it. Probably, by re-reviewing. Soon, I guess.
At this day, I think, real Vector-AI will be punished. Because Adobe is not accepting Vector AI. While I don't see any clear answer of a line in ToS about it.
Is there a way to question Mat directly? Because I really think it's time to start thinking of AI-vectors as a separate thing, like AI images. Look at Shutterstock, which claims zero tolerance for AI. Their database is full of it. And they will never know what is human-made now, they will never be able to roll it back.
Is this really the intention at all? So, if I remove a minuscule logo with the new 'remove' tool, do I have to label my photo as 'generated with AI'? This completely misses the point, doesn't it? 'Modified by AI' would cover it better, but I still find it completely nonsensical
If I understand Mat Hayward's comment correctly, you don't need to label your image as generative AI if you just remove something with generative AI tools.
Examples when to label your image as generative AI:
-Generating new additions, such as a new person, animal, or object
-Adding new subjects might compromise the accuracy of an image
-Making significant adjustments or changes to a human subject in an image
-Recoloring the primary subject of an image
Examples when you wouldnt be obligated to label an image as generative AI:
-Extending background for any reason
-Removing IP or other forms of retouching
-Removing distracting objects or people
-Recoloring the background of an image

Matt, when accepting the terms of use of the Firefly plug-in in Photoshop, a message appears that commercial use of the beta version is prohibited. Does this mean that the Photoshop plug-in is still in beta or is it safe to upload files to Adobe Stock?
Firefly is out of beta. You can use it for commercial purposes. Update your main Photoshop on your computer through the Creative Cloud and you should be good to go. -Mat

If I pull my images off your site dose Adobe get to use them in perpetuity in your ai firefly system? If so, what date was this in perpetuity clause put into the artist agreement?

Suggestion for Adobe/Mat
Please allow us a small number of files to be fast tracked, to be able to respond to current world events - a new covid type scare, floodings and earthquakes, maybe a stock market crash...aliens are real...
The way it is now, if something dramatic happens, we have no chance of getting relevant material online in time.
Imagine if all the images of people wearing masks got delayed for 3 months...
So - perhaps depending on port size/sales success/rank...please allow us to fasttrack 2-10 files a week.
I appreciate the request and understand the concern. What you are describing is more in line with an editorial content submission which, as you know we do not accept. And you are raising CC software prices which were already high, that's really not nice Adobe. 
"Starting November 2023, Adobe plans for users to be able to purchase additional Generative Credits through a new subscription plan, starting at $4.99/month for 100 Credits." So will we get paid whenever someone uses our image and know which one is it, like we are paid for normal, paid images? It should be similar, why not? I like bonus I got, but I don't like to be paid in bulk, not knowing how many of my images were used and at which price.

Adobe has now announced pricing for Firefly (which is out of beta)
I haven't seen anything yet about what the rules will be for Adobe Stock contributors who use the AI-fueled Photoshop features to edit a photo they took - does that then become content that must be marked as genAI? With the exception of editorial (which Adobe Stock doesn't except beyond the odd illustrative editorial), one doesn't have to mark photos that have been edited as such. And in general you'd never sell much if you didn't edit what came out of the camera. All these considerations get a lot murkier once there are AI tools to modify a photo of something that actually exists (existed) in the real world.
This is mostly, IMO, a concern about giving the buyer an accurate description of what they're licensing.

Mat, do I understand this correctly, that the payment is solely based on portfolio sice and sales, not on whether the images were actully used to train your AI? Because if that's the case that basically means that someone who has not done a single real photo or illustration in all his life, but has only created tons of AI content based off other people's hard work also got the "compensation". So they basically got PAID for generating AI images based off the work of people who never got paid for it.
That's a far cry from Adobe's statement that you were "developing generative AI responsibly, with creators at the center."
The initial bonus is based on the all-time total number of approved images you submitted to Adobe Stock and the number of licenses that those images generated in the 12-month period between June 3rd, 2022 to June 2nd, 2023. The bonus is weighted towards license. -Mat Hayward

After the initial Firefly bonus compensation on September 13, 2023 for eligible online images and their downloads, which occurred between June 3, 2022, and June 2, 2023, any potential subsequent bonuses are planned to be based on new approved images and downloads. Mat, if you see this... first off I'd just like to say thanks, much appreciated.
Couple of questions though, one screen grab states future payouts would be based on new approved images and downloads. Is that downloads from the new files or, your total downloads from your overall port for whatever time period decided? The Adobe email has confirmed it's downloads from new files.
Secondly, will AI generated images be included or excluded from the AI bonus. I guess if they're included in Firefly learning there maybe a risk that AI is trying to learn from itself including the mistakes... that could lead to poor results in the long run. I guess there will also be a risk it would accelerate the numbers of AI images being submitted... we already have over a month wait for images to be approved so there is potential for this to deteriorate further. Thanks for the question. All content that is on Adobe Stock goes through the same strict submission guidelines and moderation process, which includes Generative AI images. This content enhances our dataset training model, and we decided to include this content for the commercially released version of Firefly. Contributors of generative AI were included in the bonus payment. -Mat Hayward

Hi Everyone, When we announced Adobe Firefly, we made it clear that we are developing generative AI responsibly, with creators at the center. Although the use of Adobe Stock images for training Firefly is covered by our contributor agreement, we recognize that Firefly would only exist with the community that made it possible. As a result, today we are announcing the bonus payment details for contributors whose content was used to train our first commercial Firefly model, which is now available. All eligible Adobe Stock contributors with photos, vectors or illustrations, whose content was used to train the first commercial Firefly model, received a Firefly bonus payment today, September 13, 2023. The bonus payment is not guaranteed, it varies for each contributor, and is paid at Adobes discretion. The initial bonus is based on the all-time total number of approved images you submitted to Adobe Stock and the number of licenses that those images generated in the 12-month period between June 3rd, 2022, to June 2nd, 2023. The bonus is weighted towards licenses. A banner on the Insights>My Statistics tab in the Contributor portal provides the specific amount that was added to your account. We plan to base potential subsequent bonuses on new approved images and licenses they generate annually. confused - if the order matters, why does LRC automatically alphabetize them?
One of the top features of Lightroom is the organizational capabilities. Alphabetical keywords makes sense for the vast majority of Lightroom use cases. We are the only exception I can think of.
As a compromise, the Lightroom team made an update in which the original order of keywords is retained as you add them. In LR the keywords are still displayed alphabetically, however when you upload to Adobe Stock, the keywords are added in the order you originally listed them. It's not the cleanest UI, but it is effective.
Personally, I add my keywords in Adobe Bridge to embed in metadata. I only use LR keywords to keep track of what I've got and where.

Can you tell us a little more about this change? Link to a video/tutorial?
I do everything in LRc but with stock images I'm uploading to Adobe, I'm forced into an additional step, where I paste keywords from LRc into a Pages (Word) document & then rearrange them so the ten most important are first. I then use that to paste into Adobe when I upload, which is very time consuming...
Even if I do keywords in order in PS, if I opened the original RAW from LRc, it will rearrange them alphbetically in any saved tiffs or jpegs. Will Adobe Stock recognize what I did in PS?
I often just use LRc, so with the change, can I simply paste my keywords into LRc in the right order and will it then upload them to Adobe in that order? Does that work or do you need to enter them one by one? What do you mean by initial order? Is it the first time you save metadata to the file? Or, the most recent?
I have many saved LRc Keyword/Caption Metatdata presets that get added as I import my photos into LRc to be tweaked as needed, but this means the initial keywords will always end up in alphabetical order due to LRc's insistence on not allowing us to save a preset in the order we'd prefer. So does this then defeat the new system?
I used to organize all my Adobe Stock images in the Adobe Stock plugin which no longer works - so how do you upload to Adobe Stock & have it recognize whatever "initial order" in LR means?
Even if you embed your keywords using Bridge, if your file is in your catalog in LRc, LR will rearrange the keywords, and it's pointless to import into LRc only after it's been uploaded to Adobe Stock - organization is the first step. So I don't see that as a viable solution.
Honestly, with all the amazing bells and whistles in LRc, why couldn't they just make it a Preferences option to organize keywords manually or alphabetically? Problem solved. I've gotta think you've got IT folks who can figure this out.
It's been quite a while since I've tested this, but in short yes....I've only used this in Lightroom Classic. You can bypass the step in which you copy/paste into Word and re-arrange (that seems like it would be easier directly in the contributor portal anyway). Give it a test with one image to see for yourself if it satisfies your needs. I know it's not ideal to view them in alphabetical order, but with the order being kept when and where it truly counts, it is certainly better than it used to be. -Mat

How important is to add keywords to image metadata? I can do that from my computer, but not from my iPad (most of my illustrations are made on iPad) It it ok if I dont add metadata to my images?
You must add a title and at least 5 keywords before you can submit. It doesn't matter if you embed them in the metadata before upload, or if you add them in the contributor portal after you upload. It must be done. Not only is it required, it's by far the most effective way to get your content seen and sold. -Mat Hayward

Do you have more than just one sentence just because you can or do you just have one sentence as your Adobe Stock title? (I know it generally offers just one sentence as a suggestion but what has worked for you?)

The first ten keywords have the most weight in search results. You can add up to 49 relevant keywords. They all play a role in search. As long as they are relevant, you should add as many as you can think of. The tool here in MSG is effective in providing useful keywords. Spend the most time focusing on the first ten, the rest is helpful, just not quite as impactful in the results.

If I redeem my complimentary single app plan now, could I upgrade it to all apps plan by paying the difference? Or would I still have to pay the full price for all apps plan even though I have a year of complimentary single app membership?

Mat, is this really the new tone with the contributors? If you do everything the way we want (and keep changing it every day), we love you?
But if you make one mistake, we'll block you? Great 
Mat, we are all adults here, with experience in the stock business or other training and decent Jobs, have families, raised children and Adobe is just treating us like a bunch of toddlers at the whim of our teachers.
You are the only agency here that creates an atmosphere of fear, although everyone here in the forum is trying to help Adobe.
I submitted images today (no AI) and felt bad about it because of your new threatening disclaimer. But I don't want to feel threatened when I send pictures, not to mention the fact that I won't know the outcome of my threatening experience for weeks 
This is a real new experience in stock photography 
As far as interpersonal issues are concerned, Adobe is really screwing things up here.

Hi Ralf. I'm actually communicating the opposite of what you wrote. The concern I was addressing is regarding the new checkbox that appears before you can complete the submission process. The checkbox states the following: -I added a model release for each recognizable person -My content has no logos, trademarks, or other intellectual property issues -If my content is AI generated, I have checked the box declaring so -If my content is AI generated, I have not generated it with reference to other artists(s) in the prompt. -I understand my account can be suspended if I breach the guidelines. The issue that was called out earlier in this thread, is that these checkboxes appear even when you are submitting content for the illustrative editorial collection. Clearly, you cannot submit to the illustrative editorial collection and affirm your content has no logos or trademarked elements. My response was to confirm that we recognize the language needs to be updated to address this. Until that language is updated, it is OK to submit to to the collection and check the boxes. You will not be blocked if you do so. thanks, Mat Hayward

The verification rules have become very strange. When I send illustrative editorial photos, obviously not generated by AI, I have to accept the conditions, among others: the photo does not contain logos and trademarks. After all, this is the essence of illustrative editorial photos. And Adobe is threatening to suspend my account.
We are aware of this issue and will update the language ASAP to call out the exception for Illustrative Editorial photographs. For now, if you are submitting Illustrative Editorial, it's OK to click the box and you can know with confidence you're account won't be blocked because of it.
