I never check if something, I plan to shoot has already been done, because you will alway find out, that there are already thousands if not tens of thousand photos of that particular subject, and some of them are going to be pretty amazing. That just gives me headaches and discouragement. I just shoot it the best I can and know, upload, and hope for the best.

Usually they send you you payment by the 15th of the month, but sometimes it's later, I got some payments at 16th of the month and also 18th and 19th, but some were sooner than 15th. You also need to reach 100$ mark to receive automated payment.
EDIT I haven't received mine yet for this month.

While Adobe is doing really great for me lately also, I'm missing those big sales that you get at SS, thats why SS is still ahead for me. For example I got 120$ video sale this month, 50$ photo sale previous month, 34$ video sale in October, I can't remember when was the last time I got video or EL sale at Adobe....

Congratulations to everyone who got paid! It does not matter what time of year this occured .
So many were affected and many dependant on the earnings to maintain their lives. Was it Shutterstock? Did the pandemic play a part? Huge daily submission volume and staff dieng
and/or resigning? Who knows? It is up to Shutterstock to explain to ALL their contributers what
happened. Otherwise, it is the same SS. Good luck to everyone who are still waiting. At least you know things are happening!
What do you mean with "what happened"? They say you will be paid by the 15th of the month. As far as I can see there's still 1 day left.

I alway request my payments on the 1st of the month. This is how I received my payments:
10th, 11th, 7th, 9th, 4th, 8th, 10th, 6th, 8th, 11th, 11th, 7th, 10th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 5th, 9th, 11th... etc

"My name is Kevin and although I am not a Shutterstock employee, I am a Shutterstock expert and contributor and am authorised to provide first-line support and will do my best to help.
There is a system issue at the moment affecting payments and we are getting many such reports. This is not a specific problem with Payoneer but with all 3 payment providers. Shutterstock are working to fix the issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience.
Payment is still expected by the 15th of the month

I totally agree with you, she came up with good idea and became succesful and rich. And Im'm not angry at her at all, she obviously deserve it.
What I'm saying is, throwing money at this botomless sack called Africa (and also I'm not saying she should give her money to contributors, although I wouldn't mind ofcourse) is not solution. We're helping them for decades and it didnt get them anywhere. They need shovels and hoes, not money

I uploaded a few png files today, and when I go to /portfolio there is only "deactive" button and files are In review. Usually there were two buttons , "deactivate" and "edit" where you added title and keywords. Is this a glitch or is this something new. Will "edit" button appaear after/if files are accepted? Any clues?
