Mine is the Zenslider: http://zenslider.com/
I dont think you can find anything with better support and price Great people behind this.
You can see it in action here:
This looks good. I went to their web site and priced it out. The basic slider with VAT and shipping comes to almost 725 euros so around $905 delivered to the US (Indiana). The Flycam version is $854 with shipping so the price for each is similar.

Why not get a small carbon fiber tripod? This is only 2lbs and folds to 16 inches. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/759477-REG/Gitzo_GT1542T_Series_1_Traveler_6x.html
This is what I have with a lightweight ball head and it works great for travel. I hang my backpack off the hook and it is very stable. Not quite stable enough for video in high wind (I discovered recently), but very good in most circumstances and small enough to go almost anywhere so it gets used a lot.

Me, too - regular iS sales were the lowest in more than three years. I suspect the goal of GI when they acquired iS was to get rid of regular sales and convert it to a subs-only site and, if so, they have been highly successful.

I use NameChanger - it's free, provides lots of flexibility and works great. It might be only for Macs though - not sure about that part.

I had not noticed that, but I just checked and have some that were accepted on Nov.2 and Nov. 5 and are still listed as processing so the same is happening to me.

I thought I was seeing lots of meteors but they turned out to be snowflakes - drat. We ended up with two inches and it's supposed to be 12 F tonight - no fun. Glad I'm going to Florida later this week...
Hope you got some nice images and everyone else is somewhere nice.

I agree with Mantis - wild swings seem to be normal but the overall trend is down. For me volume on SS so far this month is down about 35% from the first six months of the year with very little activity on new files. BS, CS and 123 have crashed completely with the few sales being pitiful subs. Last month on 123 was my BME, but so far this month it is the worst since I started in 2009 - weird. DT and FT hanging in there. If it continues for the rest of the month I will barely make my average for 2011 - quite a step backwards.

So far this month I'm averaging one OD/SOD per every 7.7 DLs, which is better than most months. Total DLs for me are down about 25% on SS and way more than that on most other sites but at least the OD/SOD rate is holding steady.

Reviews at CS have still been pretty fast lately, but sales have dropped off a cliff

Yes, I've had those $2 sub sales - maybe one out of every 15 subs or so is a higher one.

If you're using a model then it isn't really editorial. I know SS allows staged editorials nowadays but I'm not sure if it covers that situation.

Reviews are still pretty fast based on my last couple of batches - within a day or two, faster than SS - so at least that part is OK.

I typically do 10-15 - just seems like a reasonable number

They are usually one of the most variable, but the past month or two have dropped off the edge. October was my WMY and so far this month is even worse. Numbers of sales have been OK, but now mostly 25 cent subs, which used to be rare. Of my past 20 sales, 13 were for 25 cents each - that has never happened before and is why they have dropped so far.
Who knows but I doubt it. CanStock has had 25-cent subs for years but they were always a minority of sales for me until very recently. I'm not convinced that DPC has been very successful - I almost never get $1 sales at FT. I assume something else has changed.
Could the DPC program be the root cause?

Batch assignment of photo info - how many people, whether a photograph, digitally modified, type of license, that sort of thing on the last page - would be a big help, so we don't have to do it for each similar image individually.
Just a quick point here - you can already do that...
Er - how please? Can you post a link or something?
Drag the images down to the batch edit area, click on the desired option, assign the change you want to make, click save. All done!
I didn't know about that - will have to try it. Thanks.

I haven't had any sales there since Oct. 28 - hopefully it is just server lag.

Correctly reading IPTC info also would be good - now it often doesn't read in the titles or puts them in the description field instead.
Change the essential keywords to a number rather than character count - e.g., first 5 or 8 keywords rather than 50 characters - and either take the first few automatically and/or display them all and allow the essential ones to be chosen easily, either drag and drop or just by a click.
Thanks for asking and please ignore the squabbling by our colleagues.

SS solid - better than last month and this month last year so can't complain, mainly due to video and large SOD sales. BME on 123 even though numbers are down due to a large EL that pushed it past last BME. BMY on DP due to high sales despite not uploading there for more than 6 months. iS OK, FT solid. The big disappointments were BS, CanStock and DT which all had their WMYs. For DT it was the worst in more than 2 years. Other sites all bad - dead and deadder - except for Canva where I had a few sales on my measly 11 images online there, need to get more uploaded. Overall below the average for the year and total downloads didn't even meet the average from last year so not encouraging.

I just checked my stats there and almost all subs sales were at the base rate, but I did have two this month that were higher: one for $0.47 and the other for $1.28. So we are getting some at higher rates but the frequency is very low (for me at least).

They start off paying 22 cents for subs sales - I would not bother. They used to be good before putting in the RC system but now they are not worth bothering about until you have a very large portfolio - they should not be supported when paying so low. If you go up a couple of levels then they are OK but not at the beginning.

There is one potential thing that they could do to right the ship ... and that is to restore the original canister-based royalty rates. That, more than anything else, would actually help their bottom-line. Unfortunately TPTB are not bright enough to understand that and how vital the relationship with the contributor actually was to the success of their business. It was the RC debacle that destroyed IS and it is only the restoration of the original royalty structure that will help them.
Well said! The RC change wasn't the only problem but it certainly soured contributors. Admitting that was a bad idea and restoring to the way it was would help a lot from the contributor side. SS so far hasn't messed with their levels and it seems to be pretty sustainable there.

Not a WMY but close - way behind compared to 2013 and 2012 but at least beat Sept. 2011. Surprisingly had BMYs at DT and DP. Had a WMY at CS, and most of the others were at 2011 levels. SS DL volume down about 20% from earlier this year but money hanging in there due to more than usual ELs and SODs. SS about 60% of the total. Like some others, I made more on Canva than GL, even though I only made a small test upload to Canva and only have 11 images online - need to increase that. iS very weak - the new changes don't seem to have helped my bottom line.

during the days of that other potential which got hijacked by IS. forgot that agency's name already. i think everyone old here will help me remember . it was that agency where we used to promote each other's images and we were earning well with them too. good agency, good PR, good everything... until IStock bought them and killed it.
Stockxpert? I still get sales there almost every month, although not a lot. Back to the OP - I had a BMY at DT, and August was my WMY. I have still been getting decent amounts of higher-credit sales, their levels system really works when there are buyers. Overall though am averaging less per month this year than in 2013 or 2012 so the trend is definitely downwards.
