No thanks!
I don't want to struggle with time, upload speed and other contributors to be in first 200K...
Deposit Photos has better deal and deadline for receiving...

Alex explained to us that this is not usual "higher resolution sale"... This is deal about resizing where contributor gets small part ,but still part of amount... Buyer can make the same after transaction without contributor so thi is better option than nothing...

This is a severe accusation, do not judge them before you hear them. Ah , I forgot they don't talk. Anyway I am sure they don't cheat but it would be nice to hear their voice.
Are you talking to me...? I do not condemn anyone, just wondering is it possible something like that, only because discussions like this...

I've always wondered whether there is a possibility that the agencies do not show all the sales of our pictures?
It seems that we will in future need to have some "framework" for legal representation...
Until then, we need to know that We are guilty, because we do not have the courage to migrate out portfolios at fair Agencies...

Thank you Alex for this further clarification ...
I am somewhat calmer, especially because always be a good relationship between contributors and 123support... You talk with us, some others don't...
We are slowly fed with these phrases "Congratulations, good news, great, excellent etc..." That frighten us in some way ...
We need clear and objective approach...

Hi Borg,
We will pay you in the middle (13,14,15,16,17) of the following month when you reach your minimum payout for the month before.
Alex for 123RF.com
Thank you Alex, Regards!

You have to meet the minimum balance threshold, which I think is $50. I was paid on March 15, so they did make March payments if your balance met the minimum.
Of course, I reached threshold last month, cca second week in March...

Right or wrong, but we're all guilty for that what happens to us in this industry ...

P.S. We will have to establish our trade union...
I remain ready to join, but so far nobody's done more than talk...
Heheheehehe! It would be great, then we would have legal representation... It seems that "drivers for first steps" should be people familiar with Microstock, famous bloggers, more experienced photographers, forum administrators etc. Then we would all be able to join as members, and have a unique and strong approach to problems...

Why should the third party get paid every time? Resizing it (of dubious value to start with) is a one time cost.
Exactly!!! Someone else gets money every time when my photo has been downloaded only because he enlarged it...?? What we are experiencing lately?? Bigger prices in many collections, but less and less percentages for contributors... This is not new, We saw it before (FT etc.) It seems that everyone wants to earn more and more money from OUR WORK, but also they try to comfort us with the smallest part of the cake.... So, customers can pay more but we will get less and less... And where is good news?My photos are sold for a higher price, but I get a smaller portion??? Also, now some third-parties are pushing in, to make profit on our work... P.S. We will have to establish our trade union...

Subs are the worst thing for RPD... All my growth projections for a future.... failed.... What could compel the agency to go to the subscription model? Competition??

How does SS make any money from 25-a-day subscriptions when they pay $0.25 per image to a novice contributor and even more to those who have been selling above a certain level? Subcription of $249 per 750 images (25 a day, 30 days) equals $0.33 per image.

In my country, $300 a month is full time salary for many people, so, it's very achievable. But if you live in western Europe or America.....
But if you live in America..... $300 is a monthly car payment.
People with $300 salary don't have a car. They don't have photo equipment neither. So, as Madelaide said - they don't become photographers. And to get back to the topic - people from third world countries, or however you call the ones with $300 or less salary, are not your competition.
Of course....Hehe! One story about this: One microstock agency was "switched off "a few months ago ... And I had about $ 19 on my account and agency support wanted to make payout to me. But I can not receive money from PayPal (remain as only option), and support decided to make a bank wire transfer to me ... I refuse that because the wire transfer payments will cost probably more than the amount of payment, for me or for them, isn't matter... I explained this to them, but they (support) were VEEERY surprised with my decision to forget that amount, because they know that in Croatia this amount means MUCH MUUUCH more than in America,(probably we are starving here ;-)) ... What was funny to me, because ALL, but absolutely everything is MUUUCH more expensive in Croatia than in the U.S. ... From food to gasoline to photographic equipment ... Too many Hollywood movies changing perception of reality , especially that 100$ is haven for us in this part of Europe ...
