DT still top 4, it settles when the months get older, people havent all submitted their earnings yet

theres 37 pages of complaints, so it is safe to say, yes, others have experienced this as well lately. as for the cloud, i was told that i had cut off a cloud and therefore it was rejected. unfortunately i have not found a camera yet that can photograph the entire sky in a single image

62K images in one year?????
that' guy keeps busy with his uploads... how he managed to upload and keyword that much in one year, that's impressive.

they have a large portfolio and it is keyworded over the years and then they send a harddrive  to shutter who just add the protfolio to the database. . or they are a factory, with a few people uploading 177 images per day. not that difficult

September BME and October off to a good start as well Before that it was really bad during summer

Dont get your hopes up, all communications have deteriorated over the past year. When asking for clarification on a rejection you now get a canned response. Shutter is doing everything to reduce any interaction with contribs. Prepare for the worst

« on: October 05, 2015, 02:50 »
When SS "cuts" royalties I still get the same per download, when IS does it I get less per download.
There's a difference between your commission percentage and your royalty payment.
In that iStock example above, we keep the same amount per sub sold, but Getty pockets a lot more.
Yep in those subs plans you get to keep the same no matter what SS or iS charges, wooyay!  In the first example of the two royalty cuts SS changed it from a % to a set amount resulting in real dollars lost per sale.  From $4.35 to $2.85.
I am still getting $4.35, I dont see any $2.85 sods

it never ends, does it, until they give up that right to keep and bear arms

They will get them anyway. There are about a thousand ways to get firearms without going to a gunshop or register.
criminals always have and always will, agree, average joe wont, and its them who go into schools, not hardened criminals

238 days, 247 mass shootings in America - still think they're 'isolated' incidents?

Paypal is different per country and per agency, its apples and pears to compare it. Just read the agency T&C and the paypal T&C for your country and you have all your answers.

Quote
Even though Getty Images and iStock by Getty Images does accept artistic partial and full nudity in photography for royalty free photography we reserve the right to reject/deactivate any image, including images that we feel are clichd, overtly stereotypical, too explicit, verge on the pornographic, obscene or represents gender roles in a sexist manner. We may also reject/deactivate images in these categories that we feel are not commercially viable

Could it not just be that the image in the OP falls under those categories?

« on: September 17, 2015, 09:31 »
Just another way in which they've quietly and indirectly cut royalties. And there will be more.
How? They make $52 dollar on an EL, they make cents on a sub

All kinds of ways but the few that come to mind are cuts in SOD commission or cuts in pricing that lead to less commission, cuts on those pennies (say, .38 cents gets cut to .33 cents), video commissions (which recently took a hit), OD cuts from, say, $2.85 to $2.00, etc. Lot's of ways left to carve off the meat.
nO, I understood that he meant the changing of the EL licence frm 250k to 500k was a way to cut royalties. I dont see how

Sales are ok, subs keep coming, a couple of videos each month and even OD/SOD ranging from 7-56$.  But I didn't get a 28classic EL for 6 months!!!

Any thoughts? Ideas?

Only a few read the OP correctly, because the answer is yes. Of course it is legally possible to resell a photo you didnt take.
