Should the sites be given notice when the contributor dies and someone else has inherited the account, or doesn't it make any difference for them who claims the money?

I think that agencies have to replace your account with relatives account, so we need to explain how to contact microstock agencies....

Does anybody ask any of agencies about this?
They should know how...

There is one big change that we were not clear about; we have moved all your information to the new site. You are no longer able to login on the PBC website. If you refer anyone to our community, please be sure you let them know to register at the new site. We have had a couple of people register at PBC and as a result, they are very confused. The process to become a community member will take a new applicant a couple of days to be approved. First they have to apply and provide some details about their experience and where they have other artwork. Once we are confident they will be a valuable member, we will give them access to the site.

Hi contributors on Printbusinesscard.com!!!

As you know Moneybookers has no longer payment option for payouts from USA based agencies...

So, as you know PayPal doesn't make payouts for many of us outside of "blessing countries", and if you use Payoneer and you are contributor on Printbusinesscard.com please go to Printbussinescard community  forum and give your vote for using  Payoneer as an  alternative payment option...

Printbusinesscard needs to have minimum 5 Payoneer users to be able to open a business account...
I am first...

Support on PBC is very friendly  and  they are willing to help us...

Here is link:

P.S.

I think that will be good for many of us!

Yep!

Child I hope you are in...   ;)

1232

Nobody except me on PBC with activated Payoneer card?

I think that is the main parameter on SS is views/DLs...

In the start that number is small ( higher position) but through time  is getting bigger and bigger value and (lower pic position)

Look nice, but we also need separated monthly earnings from total earnings, current balance, payouts, payment link etc.

Once upon a time, I was released "the projection formula for the end of the month.."

Yuri is now packed in something like that on web, but my formula was not required your name then, right?  ::) :-*

Many of us did not see the meaning of the formula then, or they did not understand extrapolation of  existing data, or just was not pretty packed ... :-\

But its a good tool, thank you Yuri...

One more important thing?

The difference between midstock and microstock licenses...

Why lower prices and why to sell images for midstock license with a microstock prices?

1243
I use Smugmug and have a lot of sales there.

You may want to "sell" them like on an auction style site, have the print run though Smugmug direct to the customer etc....  Prints well very well to European countries I find in that manner.

Can I upload my photos from microstock sites there...? And sell multiple times?

I think that is "Storefront site" like many others for photography...

Cutcaster / Re: CC site is down

Isn't problem for me if CC is down...

I never sold anything there with 500+ image in portfolio...
Up or down, no matter...

General Stock Discussion / Re: The use of a square image
« on: August 23, 2009, 06:23 »
Four third standard is a future...

4:3 format of photo is the closest to square format...

Olympus rules... ;)

1247
Maybe is problem in my English language, I don't know how to explain to you...

I was trying to explain situation  before Microstock and after...

If some project cost few thousand dollars,  doesn't mean that is web designer's fee... That is all-included price...

Also one big interactive web site isn't only "micro image"+ playing in photoshop...

Programming of engine costs, design costs pictures cost, servers cost, site domain cost, maintanance cost etc.
Team of people are working on one good interactive web site...

Of course, I am also for higher prices for microstocks photos... ;)

1248
For 15 $ I have too good photos for site which I'll charge a few thousand dollars to my client...

This I don't agree with.  I'm fine with a "search" or "research" fee added on to find the image.  But gouging the client just because you can isn't very smart.

I am not saying that the client pays only a reselling of picture, he pays the whole project where the image is only a small part of overall and demanding job, with all wishes fulfilled by the client, with probably the annual maintenance of the site...

The aim was to show the cost of some image is minimal compared to the price of the final product for someone like web designer...
This is an investment in raw materials, like in any other industry...

1249

But they wont ever achieve a critical mass of free "good enough" images, so there is nothing to worry about.  Why would the sites that are making good profits now, in a poor economic climate, allow their profits to be eradicated by their own free sections?  Why would contributors who are making money supply images to free sites that reduce their earnings?  It just doesn't make any sense to me.  There are already free alternatives to windows, office, photoshop, illustrator etc. but I don't see microsoft and adobe going out of business.  People will always pay for a superior product.

You have right Sharpshot....

Many of people here make conclusion with semi-informations. Maybe just because they want to heard different...

I have friend who is web designer... He works for big american company for a 10 years or more, I think....

He said:
"Before microstock was very hard to find "good enough" photo on free photos site, I needed several hours to find subject for my project, often with too bad quality...
Microstock was big refreshment for all of us, sometimes I need "express" some photo, of an old ship, for example...
Now I go to IS, type "ships old" in search engine and I have tons of high quality images about ships, all kind, even with "match color" with my project.. After start of microstock I never go on free sites again...
For 15 $ I have too good photos for site which I'll charge a few thousand dollars to my client... Before microstock I had to (very often) to take my compact camera and try to shot some isolation or some object on white, only because I couldn't find that motive on internet...
That was big waste of time for me"

I use a service that tracks my stats at 10+ agencies. I have noticed that sales average the same but you are right, they fluctuate between agencies. When SS is really down, others go way up, keeping about the same leverage. I wonder if it's the same core of buyers shifting their purchasing or just a fluke.

Thank God that I am not alone!!!
