I always select v3. Already selected one is indicated in red color.
4K for $800 and HD for $330? Quite a crazy rich person should buy there since there are no exclusivities as far as I know. I assume you have some sharkback riding or landing on the moon footages in 4K... They hardly sell 10% of my Shutterstock volume even in v2 and I'll definitely choose v1 in Stocksubmitter for all further uploads.
Why undercut your sales on other sites with v1? I choose v2, because in v1 HD is priced too cheap.

To the right of the third option is the option Foreign Tax ID number. Select that and enter your own country's tax number (often your personal social security number).
Yes, I see that, I'm just wondering why shout I give that to Envanto, when no other site needed that to solve the tax withholding issue. Normally I just proved which country i am from, and that was it, no need for any Id number
Apparently they need your foreign tax number to determine whether you are paying taxes in your own country. Some agencies don't need it, some do. I see that fees are also being withheld. I'm not familiar with Photodune but these fees are probably transaction fees? I think you should contact their support center.

Images sell more frequently but have a lower Return Per Download than footage.
I consider $10 per image per year a good average RPI (some images sell more often, some don't sell at all). Footage gives you a higher return per download, on average I'd say you're doing well if you make an average $25 per video per year. Maybe even more?
So $10k/10 = 1000 images And $10k/25 = 400 videos
But it depends on the subject matter and the quality. Your mileage may vary.

I don't own a Powershot, but my guess is that it's probably the H.264 codec, which compresses the footage and reduces file size. The PhotoJPEG codec is considered standard as the compression is superior to H.264 (but it results in higher file sizes, obviously).

I have about 400 video clips waiting for review. I hope when I reach 1,000 I will get a nice price... Are they still interested in video footage?
The video review is on request by the contributor, means your video will not be review until you ask them to review. why? because 123rf runs by the idiots.
Wait, what? My videos were reviewed automatically by 123RF, so what are you talking about?

Both August and September I experienced very bad sales, mostly subs. About 60% down from June and July.

In Googlenglish: Dear partners, Our entire team is following closely the fact that in recent days, many of you have written in professional communities of our flexible plans (Flexible Plan). We appreciate your attention, your time, and see your feelings regarding future income and that you plan. We are extremely concerned about your lack of understanding of the process that we have started, so I want to bring some clarity. Remember that we are listening to your every word before, and will continue to do so, since it is only thanks to your efforts and skills, we have what we have. We are attentive to your wishes to be successful, and we will do everything possible to maintain stability and ensure growth. We will do everything not to let you down, and if innovation will negatively affect your income - we remove them. So: We did not do anything that will result in the loss of your income. Perhaps the changes will lead to a redistribution of revenue by product and over time, to the loss of income - is not. In absolute terms, for our suppliers has not changed and will not change in the direction of decreasing. You will not earn less, and it is a mathematical fact. Attention! The percentage of the remuneration package of sales is unchanged at 34-42%, depending on the level of the supplier. We have not changed and do not plan to change the cost of licenses for video files and the value of the extended license. Buyers who are a small number of images you need for the year, continue to buy packaged download On Demand at a price of $ 4.9 per image for a standard license. Batch downloads sales level continues to rise, and we do not observe outflow. The cost of our monthly subscriptions which are popular with large customers with the greatest needs in the content, is still on a par with the cost of such subscriptions competitors. Flexible Plan is introduced instead of subscriptions to the daily limit for downloading files (images cost of $ 0.46). So we want to teach sensitive to the price of an audience of buyers, which now enjoys free sources for content, to clear tariff models and a price of $ 1 per file. At the same time, it is important that the minimum threshold for such a purchase of $ 29 for 30 files.
The minimum threshold of $ 9.99 for the 10 files had been installed for the "poor" countries, where the majority of buyers can not get a high entry threshold, but requires regular purchases. Again, it is possible to claim that otherwise they would be free to use the files. This offer can significantly increase the audience of potential buyers, attracting customers who have not even considered the runoff. This is a proven fact by us. Keep track of your statistics. Flexible Plan - this is not dumping, since dumping is now absolutely no time, and we do not reduce prices. Flexible Plan (membership) - an approach that in the future will provide for customers a full cycle of work with vectors, photos and videos within Depositphotos and allied products. Our strategy is to increase the loyalty of the customers of the buyers, which is formed on Depositphotos. Our task - to increase the loyal core of customers and create all the conditions to keep it for long. Based on this core in 2016 - 2017 GG We plan to introduce new products, on which work is being carried out. Once again I draw your attention that such innovations are possible only with us, as audience all photobanks different and reacts differently to changes in tariffs, as though from the outside it may seem otherwise. That turns out we do not always take place in the competition. The history of the development of our project and all of the findings in a series of experiments with the rates suggest that Depositphotos has accumulated his own, loyal only to our drain, an audience that is not eroded in favor of other market participants. For example, concerns that due to the change of tariffs on Depositphotos you will be less sales in other photobanks - absolute error, it was not confirmed in the course of our in-house experiments. We would, of course, wanted the audience to the major industry players suddenly became our audience, and all the others just disappeared, just because we introduced the Flexible Plan, but this, alas, is impossible. The introduction of membership - a measured approach to new audiences that we are trying to attract and keep only to our products, and that should be different from our competitors' products. So:
We find her, unique, audience of buyers, and we know how to keep it. We know how it will continue to develop our product. Because of concerns:
On the market there are shareware model photo banks that take part of the income at all. The big players are the policy of "total" work of any reception quality with a view to inflate the base, so the medium-sized suppliers incomes fall. There is still a lot of content on the network is distributed for free or shareware and similar sites are gaining momentum because Consumers are satisfied with this state of affairs. We want to be flexible in their approach to tariffs, and, in addition to the content itself, give new customers the added value in the form of new services, which will complement the author's works and hold a buyer for a long time, which will increase the income of the long term and make the business more stable. Tariff changes to which you react so painfully, seeing it as a dumping - part of the strategy that we are trying to implement. We tested for a long time, this approach and now we see it best.
We are looking for. I would like very much to those suppliers who regard our steps as disrespectful to them, they changed their minds and were patient. We've always been honest in dealing with partners and will do everything to continue to maintain good relations with all. I advise you not to jump to conclusions, do not panic, and do not deactivate their work, because it can lubricate the picture of general statistics. In addition, today the indexed search engine image not quickly recover to grant, even if you change your mind later. We are keenly aware that we are not leaders of sales in your set of partners, but we do our best to become the leader. Do not hurry. Even the minimum loss - a loss. I assure you that our changes will not affect your earnings from our competitors, but it is - a real chance to increase revenue with us.
With sincere respect and gratitude, Dmitry Sergeev, founder of Depositphotos

To sum it up, they have:
- Offered all ports on reseller websites for premium prices and paying a measly 0,03% subscription commission per sale - Lied to contributors about files being removed after complaints (the files were still available or re-appeared) - Lowered commissions 'to improve sales' - Created a DollarPhotoClub clone that will kill credit sales (not that there were many of them)
Anything else?

Last year, Fotolia was 7% of my total income, Istock was 16.3%
This year (up until September) Fotolia is 9.5% vs Istock 10%. They are soon going to surpass Istock for me.

I would love to sue the crap out of the site owners. I have zero tolerance for these stealing crooks.
Like Jo Ann Snover said, you can't just download it 'for free', because you have to buy a premium Nitroflare account to download the images. I doubt many people will be doing that.

I have an existing Adobe account for the webstore, should I login with that account to sync my Fotolia portfolio? I can't seem to login with my Fotolia login when signing in on Adobe.

Hi everyone,
I saw this on Bored Panda: http://www.boredpanda.com/adobe-stock-apparel-clothing-line/
They are not actually for sale but it is making fun of stock.
Sometimes I feel embarrassed to say I do stock photography - like it is becoming a joke. I take it very seriously ... Maybe I'm too sensitive ...
Well, those photos are kind of ridiculous. Those fake white smiles, the forced poses, the crazy faces...trends change, and these photos feel dated and fake.

I'd like to download the watermarked previews of my own videos, but it says I need to login (with a buyer account) to download a preview. Isn't there a way to download them with my contributor account?

All of that info should be put in the meta data fields within the image. Are you using photoshop or another Adobe software?
My main question is the practical difference between title and description in regard to Dreamstime. How do you approach it?
Thanks!
Say you have a photo of a barn in a wheat field with a blue sky. (I don't have an visual example so use your imagination ) A proper title would be: "Barn in a wheat field" The description would be...well, more descriptive, like: "A wooden barn with closed doors standing in the middle of a golden wheat field beneath a clear blue sky. Copy-space on the right side of the image." Generally, in a description, you get more specific about the photo. Use adjectives and complete sentences to describe colors, materials, associations, feelings and emotions.

Thanks for replying, so what do you guys suggest? Should I start working for other websites, may be shutterstock?
Can I use the same illustrations in shutterstock or that would be against their (both shutterstock and istockphoto's) TOR?
Definitely upload to Shutterstock and Fotolia and perhaps 123RF. As long as you're a non-exclusive contributor (which you are) you're free to upload your illustrations to as many agencies as you like.

What do you need the images for? If you want to use them commercially, pay the $50 and buy them. If you can't afford to invest $50, then perhaps you shouldn't be having a business.
If you need them for non-commercial reasons (say, a greeting card for your mom and dad), I understand it can be expensive. But you'll have to find another, cheaper option.

Anyone else bothered that they can edit and alter the watermarked images BEFORE licensing them? Shouldn't you at least need a license to alter someone else's copyrighted material?
Also, for the SS plugin will we be getting OD pricing, or are they going to slip this in with subscription royalties?
Why would you need a license for altering a watermarked image? As long as the watermarked design isn't published, you can tinker with it all you like. You can already download a comp image from SS (or any other site) and alter it in Photoshop without paying in advance.

Send them an email attaching the images or a "contact sheet" with thumbnails, a screen shot of the site and its language permitting the use, and a link to the relevant pages. Alternatively, you could put all that in a pdf and upload it as a "release," though someone further up the food chain than a reviewer may need to have a look.
I just had an illustration rejected for failure to include the original photo (mine) as a "release," forgetting how stringent they've become, which is actually a good thing theoretically, however annoying it is for us. Thinking of all the rip-offs of other's work that get past the reviewers, it's good to know some of them are on the ball, even if it makes more work for those of us who are playing by the rules.
So I added a screenshot as a property release (there's no other way since they've removed the option to add a note to the reviewer), but now it got rejected because : "Release Field / Not Needed -- A model or property release is either attached to the wrong field or..." Headache coming up in 3, 2, 1...
