Ideally, what I'm looking for is something that can store the image that I can put notes beside.
Seeing the image name isn't enough, I need to see the image and perhaps, have a tick box for each stock site so I know if I have sent it there or not.
Does such a thing exist?
I'm just finding that Bridge and Xpiks are not quite what I'm loooking for. (Having said that, Bridge 2024 is far quicker!)

I know I do to see what other images I might like but was just wondering how common that is. Do you look at other photographer's profiles to what they "have to offer?"

Just looking at some presets there for my images and I have to say I'm quite impressed.
Just wondering, do you use the ones that come with lightroom or have you purchased different ones? Ever tried Boris Opics?
Be interesting to hear opinions on how much you feel presets have improved your stock images (or not!)
Thanks

I have just uploaded a stack of files to Dreamstime that I had previously put the metadata in through Xpiks. For some reason it didn't populate anything at the Dreamstime end.
However I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not an ftp'd file would populate all the metadata automatically or not?
Thanks

I did this purely by accident yesterday but have found it invaluable and no doubt saved me a rejection or two.
After you have uploaded all your images, select the file type box and tick photos only. That way you will see what images you have marked as photos by mistake when they should be illustrations.
I am just reuploading my "mistakes" now!

I do often wonder if people "legitimately" buy an image then continue to sell that "bought" image as though it was their own.

Do you have more than just one sentence just because you can or do you just have one sentence as your Adobe Stock title? (I know it generally offers just one sentence as a suggestion but what has worked for you?)

If so, how well do they sell for you compared to images?

If (as everyone says) it's mostly the first 20 keywords that really matter, what purpose does the other 30 serve?

If you are using Xpiks, it is really worth using the suggest keywords feature to check your image. It's really invaluable to allow you a quick look to see how much "competition" there is for your style of image. It's invaluable!
It will actually make the difference for me to decide whether or not I should bother uploading a certain type of image as it could be oversaturated or actually very few of that type in some cases.
Try it (if you use Xpiks)

Reason I ask is that I have an old username with one account that I'm thinking of using again with new images.
Should I create a new account with the same username as Adobe Stock or should I just crack on with the old name but new images?
Cheers

I've got some old Halloween images that I made from AI over a year ago. They are old 2048x2048. They haven't sold so, should I optimize them and leave them or delete them and upscale them more?
Thanks

If you have used print on demand, do you also sell those images on stockphoto sites or are those images exclusive to POD?

Do you ever put signs on your stockphotos? Like "Keep Clear" or Danger! etc ? (If people were perhaps looking for a trip hazard image) If so, what programme works best for you to create them in?
Is it Canva, Adobe Express or Photoshop?
I'm thinking about trying a few of these but don't know where to start.
Thanks

What has your biggest "win" been in 2023?
Was it a big sale from a stock site you didn't expect? Was it getting a sale from an image you didn't rate or was it just getting accepted by a stock company you didn't think you would?
Love to hear some good news stories, so type away!

Thanks. I would only do it once (if at all) for the same image. If it was refused after the 2nd upload that would be it for that one
