Envato / Re: First author to reach $1,000,000 in sales on Envato« on: December 13, 2011, 14:49 »
I purchased a wp theme too, and I can say that they are very well made! Tons of options, shortcodes, custom post types, widgets, etc.... I still have to learn a lot before submitting one!
But I think that psd templates, html templates and email templates are something I can do! I'll give it a try as soon as I have decent items to submit! 129
Envato / Re: First author to reach $1,000,000 in sales on Envato« on: December 13, 2011, 07:43 »
he is an exclusive author, so he made 70% of that $1,000,000 (if you're exclusive your starting commission is 50%, but it increases up to 70% as soon as you reach $75,000 in sales http://themeforest.net/wiki/selling/getting-paid/payment-rates/)
and he has only 40 items on sale, not 400 ![]() 130

Thanks!
![]() Yep, I'm already subscribed to the Top Tier and some others, I just want to know if there are other smalle agencies with a submission process really fast and simple (so you don't mind if sales are slow). Graphic Leftovers seems interesting, I'll give it a try! 132

Which one has the easiest and less time consuming process? 133
MicrostockSubmitter / Re: StockSubmitter v2.0« on: December 11, 2011, 04:56 »
Hi!
Umm... today it is working!!! ![]() ![]() I can navigate my files, and it reads IPTC Title, Description and Keywords correctly lettim me edit them for each agency. It works with both JPG and EPS files. I don't have any video to test the auto-preview thing. Keep up the good work! ![]() Can't say too much about the interface, right now it's basically a file browser that reads metadata, but it's ok. Can't wait to see it with more features. Just a couple of questions: are you planning to add some kind of auto-submitting to all the agencies listed? ![]() 134

Hi! I've installed it on my pc, but after the install process the software won't start at all... there is nothing in the task manager after launching the program!
Here is my machine specs: Laptop Sony Vaio S Windows 7 Professional SP1 64bit i've installed "GTK# for .NET v2.12.9" and I've already got .NET Framework 4 (so I don't think I need to install the v2, right?) CPU Intel i5 M540 2.53ghz 6gb RAM Graphic card: Nvidia GeForce 310M 135

General - Stock Video / Vidli anyone?« on: December 02, 2009, 13:05 »
Anyone have tried Vidli?
It's in a "beta" phase, I've requested an account but they didn't activate it yet. Anyone already have a beta access into it? It claims to be a "video licensor", a place to buy, sell and rent videos, and I'm just curious to see how it works! 138

On which mid-stock agencies can I upload the same images that I'm selling in other micro-stock agencies? (shutterstock, fotolia, bigstock, dreamstime, stockxpert, 123rf, featurepics, canstock)
I don't have time to build up a different portfolio, but I want to give a try to mid-stock. 141

If they are godd enough, why don't you upload them as editorial at existing agencies/ often during live music gig the lighting is not so good, so you have to use at least iso 800 or even 1600 with a result of noisy pictures. every stock agency will reject such noisy images... and also tons of concert pics are published for free on flickr, deviantart, picasa, & co. i want to create an archive for them ![]() 146

thanks, i'll noticed that Hostgator give 350gb storage and 3000gb bandwidth.
but it's true or it's overselling? (usually nobody will use 3000gb/month, but if you go near this quota they will stop your account?) 147

I'm planning to create a (very)small website to let download live music photos for free (with a creative commons license).
I'm know some basic php and mysql, but i'm far from create something like that from scratch, so i'm looking into some cms (like Gallery2, Zenphoto, Coppermina or similar) to put my hands on. ![]() have you got any experience in that? any suggestion? I'm looking into a cms with (hopefully all) these features: - 3 level registration ("designer" who can only download images, "photographer" who also can upload and the "holy reviewer") (any photographer and reviewer must have an admin activation) - images reviewing system - comments and ratings - auto thumbnail generation - only registered users can download full-res images - unregistered users can only see watermarked low-res images (so to download an image you have to signin and accept a CC license) - ftp support - exif/iptc support - fancy stuff like: picture of the week, most downloaded, most viewed, top rated, editor's pick 150
