How can you possibly say an elegantly and intelligently written statement is Trump-like?  Trump wouldn't understand half of the words in there much less their meaning.  Trump likes Twitter because 140 characters is about the limit of his thinking capacity.  Trump writes and speaks like a fourth grader - he doesn't come close to the way Tryingmybest writes.

(Full disclosure - I have no idea who Tryingmybest is other than what they write in these forums)

Well-written? Yes. It's also full of hyperbole, something Trump is very good at.

I don't see your point for continuing to compare him to a 4th grader. Exaggeration doesn't make the argument stronger...it has the opposite effect. He has come this far without the backing of the GOP, the media and pretty much every important organization out there, so he must be doing something right. And if you look at past the the surface, he has done a lot of things right.

It certainly isn't exaggeration.  He speaks like an elementary school child.  Everything is either "tremendous" or involves "winning" or it's "awful" and "losing".  He has no vocabulary that I've seen, aside from those simple words, and playground insults at others.

I'm using "Who stole my pictures?" extension for firefox and it seems to work quite well

And how I know is stolen and no sold?

There's no way of knowing.

Nobody I know has ever expressed any interest in doing stock photography.  Friends or family.

Anyone have any idea on how income (over $600) earned one on foreign website, but never gets reported to IRS are treated? They don't send out 1099s and they have no mention of taxes on their website at all.

You report it, like any other income.

1382
You're thinking about Getty RM images.  Not micro.  No micro agency will ever sue anyone for any reason.

Ok, back when I investigated this, I was still exclusive at IS.  However, I still belief anyone reporting this on a 1099 as "royalties" is incorrect.  See this thread:
http://www.microstockgroup.com/general-stock-discussion/'royalties'-on-1099-misc/

Point is, when reporting "royalties", they go on Schedule C as income, not Schedule E as royalties, because, iirc, current income on C is subject to self employment tax and other things, and royalties on E aren't.  And the IRS isn't likely to enjoy you trying to stiff them from taxes on current income.

That is also incorrect.  Royalties, while you are actively involved in producing content, are not 'royalties' as far as the IRS is concerned for reporting.  It is just 'income'.  Which is probably why they wait for the $600 threshold to file.

Am I right?
Are there some other Agencies that "seize" you completely and not only your selected work?

Yes, and no.

That one is an exception though, most decent HUD kits will get about $200 to $300 a month."

That is crazy cool, and crazy cheap to give that much away...

Greetings.  There are many, many people who already live in those locations, and around the world, that are adept photographers who have filled libraries with their work.   It is unlikely that your vacation shots will garner much interest from buyers.  Instead, spend time with your (not yet bought) camera, and learn the ins and outs.  Take a class.  Experiment.  Have fun.  Don't worry about stock photography.  Heck, it might even ruin your vacation, worrying about what is saleable and what isn't.

" i have some work going on on the website"

Honestly, if you want to be taken seriously (and we're about done with these homegrown sites), you should have finished at least replacing all the stand-in "Lorem ipsum" text.  I mean your "copyright 2013" line just points to cmsaccount.com for a store script.

What eyewave said.  SS is non-exclusive.  You can do whatever you like with your image.

By Co-operative site do you mean a site that allows the users to have input, chat etc? That's kind of what mine's aiming for, people can add bios to their accounts, leave feed back and write reviews, I don't want it to be a strict selling site, more of a community for creative people, long way to go, but it's a start.

So why'd you come in with the "Hey, anyone hear about this site I know nothing about?" line?

There's already sites like that out there, btw.  You just need to look.  No need to re-invent the wheel.

1397
I told support that I had set all my photos to draft due to the new terms, and to let me know when they changed.  Response was:
"We're sorry our new licenses won't be the right fit for you. Our new licensing system will not be changing from this point on. This is because after surveying the community this was the solution most sellers and buyers wanted."

123RF / Re: Do you make $100/month at 123RF?
« on: March 01, 2016, 08:54 »
Starting a site with a similar name to 123RF and posting in this forum where they probably look seems like a dumb idea to me.

Along with bringing up an old thread FROM 2009!  Seems pretty desperate.

"popular categories and if I find my way to the 1st page in those categories, I'm set and those images will get downloads for years to come."

Or until the search changes next week, lol.
