Very early in year. I'm concertrating on 123RF and Fotolia (everything else is almost non-extitent.)
Jan on Fotolia my $$ were up almost 1/5 over 123RF. Whereas they're down by 1/3 in first half of Feb. (good thing there's still time left.)
Planning on a couple more shoots in Feb. Fingers crossed.

Just 2 for 30 days so i gave it a chance. Did the golf cart sale come from the freebie altough it was a different pic? I won't do it again anytime soon unless i start getting more DL's.

Does donating a free image results in better exposer and more sales?
I'm beginning to believe it might. Donated 2 on 2/12 (one was a golf cart. On 2/13 a pic of a golf cart was bought (although a different one) Coincidence?? Or a sign it might pay off or yet maybe too early to tell.

If you may only name 1, what is the single most annoying thing that happens to you dealing with micro stock agencies?
For me it is when all the big agencies have accepted an image, it is already selling and one of this teeny weeny sites rejects the image for "not commercially viable", "not what we are looking for" (sure, they must be looking for images that DOES NOT sell) or technical reasons.

Opposite for me (the big site turned down what is selling at smaller one. DT turned down a pic that is out selling my best pic at DT. Go figure.

Well i had my 1st sale of 2013 today (sub .18) but 3rd time it sold this year. I'm not really a big player at this and i upload very sparingly. But it is my best seller through all agencys. I guess i'll take one day at a time and give it till the end of the year to improve.

No DT and 123rf were tied with 7 sales. The sale on the 11th by 123rf put them at 8-7 over Dt.

With a very small port I got my first sale of 2013 at 123rf. Yeah a small pricr of .22. But i'm hoping that 2013 will be a turning point for me.
I'm striving to increase the no. of pics i hve and hoping that the small .22 will be the start of better things to come.

I'm hoping to put in a better effert this year and maybe a payout by years end. But if it takes till 2014 then that"ll be okay too. Best of luck to you too.
