My content was not isolated. It was filmed in Slovenia, Europe. I did use the editorial, then commercial, then editorial and now again commercial. Rejected three times.

SS rejections are beyond my understanding of common sense. I uploaded some clips with graffiti on wall and put them under editorial. They got rejected with Not Editorial: Clip does not fall under one of our acceptable editorial categories or it may have been incorrectly tagged as editorial.. Then I resubmit clips and mark them as commercial. They got rejected because: Missing Artwork Property Release. Then I tried the third time, again under editorial and guess what, rejected because Not Editorial. Now let's see what will happened the forth time. And fifth time. And I don't think this is the work of AI, I would say there are some naive or greedy humans involved. And I hope SS goes down. My best seller right now is AD, just too bad they don't accept editorial. And I'm kinda disappointing with P5, sales are super low there.

I had 166 clips pending for a few days now. Then they managed to review all of my files in less than 20 minutes and around 20 get accepted. So I immediately resubmitted all rejected files and I'll do that until they accept at least 50%. Or they can easily ban me and I would be happy with being just on Adobestock, since they are much better at selling my clips.

Also, I hope that Indian guy that is rejecting my clips on his phone chokes while watching tv.

I got rejected over bad release form but another similar clip was accepted with the same release form.

I sell a lot more on AS than SS, both photos and videos. I also like AS more, they accept a lot more than SS.

Old topic but still. I wanna share my opinion of BB. I was there for one year and uploaded over 6k clips. What bothers me is the lack of statistics. No info which agency accepted the clips and which clip was denied and for what reason. Even more frustrating is when I got a sale I don't know where that clip was sold. The only redeeming part of BB is easy to use interface and time saving since you do only one clip for several agencies. But all in all it is not worth it. Another thing I can speak about is their FB group. It's like a dictatorship in it's most hyper state, nothing negative can be said, only praise for Bb is allowed and is immediately deleted. Every post you'll see there is only positive, most of the time ass kissing to the founder of BB, which is silly in itself. You can't suggest anything for the to fix nor can you call them out when they aren't transparent. That worries me. I exactly know how many videos I have and where they are. And the result is quite surprising: Adobe took almost all, except editorial (as they don't accept that), Pond5 accepted all clips, Shutterstock half of clips (even though the number is rising as they accept even 6 months old clips) and finally Vimeostock accepted only 1500. Don't know why. So bottom line is: now I'm on my own and I think it's better this way.

Have you been banned? I thought there was an 18 months files deletion waiting time.

No I haven't been banned. Don't know about the deletion waiting time, I've never dig into it.

Same here. I upload mostly video clips and I got rejections that are really strange. I even got rejection on almost similar clip with person swimming in a river. One clip was approved the other one not because of bad release form.

Shutterstock reviewers really are idiots. They reject a form release on one clip but they accept the same release on similar clip. Reason: Invalid Model Release. Bunch of morons if you ask me.
