They were in no way related to refugees.
2 of them were registered as such
Syriens that escaped from IS do attacks in the name of IS? Please stop talking nonsense.
You don't seem to understand. At least two of the perpetrators were posing as refugees in order to gain access to Europe, but they were in fact IS fighters. It's a fact. They came in by boat via Greece and were actually registered there as refugee.

And one from them was from france. So what? Its no refugee issue its an terrorism issue.
You seem to be missing the point that they are hiding as refugees in the crowd. Denying in wont make it true.

Considering they don't know how to use apostrophes, I wouldn't put too much "stock" in it (and it's three years old).
Not sure about the connection between apostrophes and stock? Its an unusual analogy, I cant see what difference it make's.
Lol, just my pet peeve.

I was invited to Getty Headquarters a couple of weekends ago to meet the top execs! I was given lots of behind the scenes information. Bound by a confidentiality agreement, I cannot say anything more than this is GREAT for istock by Getty exclusive contributors.
I guess it's been about twelve months. Welcome back! Lol

VB at $49 is better than the slew of $10 clips on P5
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Luckily I don't sell for $10 on P5.

Like said above, getting 100%!of $49 is bad because it tells the buyer that's the market price for video. And it shouldn't be.

It's not really a very good image these days. The subject is tiny in the frame and the white balance is too yellow. And the objects have no "message". You just placed them on the paper and shot from eye level.

Well, at least you had the guts to post them . I'd say the lighting is pretty harsh. The focus seems to be ok, but mostly, they just look like snapshots of walk about stuff. Poor composition, tilted horizon, etc.

Probably because people on this site will find fault with anything......the point is its inconsistent maybe my pictures are crap but sometimes they get accepted sometimes they dont
Obviously, this case was so egregious it warranted a new thread, so it must be backed up with some examples so we can all empathize.

There was a new post today by Paul Brennan on the SS forums, saying they're making progress on getting the V2 (black bottom) watermarks online. He gave examples of some of the new ones, which do certainly work a lot better than the V1 (white bottom) ones.
I posted with some examples of watermarks that are still not useful, asking if the information sent to support has made its way to those in charge and urging them to make a commitment to make improvements on those problem areas.
http://forums.submit.shutterstock.com/topic/87071-update-on-shutterstock-watermark-progress/?p=1511932
I'd urge those of you with examples of poor V2 (black bottom) watermarks to put a reply into that thread to give him examples. It doesn't appear support is doing squat - if you don't count spewing out boilerplate text, which I don't. Possibly it might get their attention
The internet is amazing. One click on one of your examples, and I start getting SS ads all over facebook with that image.

Restrictions for exclusive contributors on iStock: "Artist may not sell anywhere else including the artist's own site", "Rejected files may not be sold elsewhere". 22-45%. WOW. I mean, really?
Lol. "Really" what?

Just out of curiosity, for those of you who are Stocksy photographers, what is your image acceptance rate? I have images with the micros and separately with Getty and my acceptance with the micros has always been very good. Acceptance of images with Getty, via their Moments collection, very hit and miss, sometimes great, often not so much. For every ten images you send Stocksy, how many do they accept? Just average or estimate would be great.
Thanks
For most series, probably about 85% for me. A few series have been completely or majority declined, which then go elsewhere.

I don't think the snowflakes mesh with the star. The gradients are very simple, and the lines between areas seem hard.

In other words, you were one of the first to give a new place a shot, and by uploading your work there you actually gave a new business something to sell. They repaid you for your support by deleting your images without notice, even though they were still selling.
I think these places forget that many of us are not only their suppliers, but their customers, too. And word gets around.
I agree. I think turning your back on your original supporters does not make for very good community relations. I think the success they are having with their software may be blinding them to the fact it still needs content to use. Sorry, JoAnne.

You should register if you want to participate in the contributor community. I think you'll find it's pretty dead though.
