I've given up trying to figure out the workings of Fotolia. My views are well down but my sales have literally rocketed and this all adds to the frustration with a large percentage of my recent images being rejected (although the same images are selling well elsewhere). I just wish I could add to my portfolio there but they don't seem to want to know at the moment......weird things are happening; I just hope they're for the better.
Today a have 1 view till now, usually before I had about 20... I guess the only "way of counting" is different, I hope so! Perhaps the only zoom on the picture is counting ...

I have 2 sales and 21 photos in portfolio...
For me,that is very good result for such small portfolio (for now) and for such young agency...

After my "weeping song" here, I had first OD sale and unusual 25A sales...
Now SS is again at first place, but how long...
I think that SS "king of subscriptions" will abandon that model of sales one day, they know that...
They will leave their "masterpiece" of sales, OD model is a first step forward...
But, that is only my opinion...

Yes, but now sales have picked back up again, so the slowdown coincides with the bug. We haven't heard from Steve on this. Has the problem been fixed and has all missing sales been reported to all contributors?
Yes! Good question! Is problem fixed for everyone, or just "part of solution" is visible for the biggest portfolios!?

Today Crestock reject 27/28 of my photos...
I am frustrated...
Also lots of "bad isolation"....
But my intention isn't always cutting subjects from background with clipping path or anything else.
Sometimes I want objects on a CLEAR background with shadows and something like that...
I didn't put category that is isolation with or without path.

I have been on a stock and forex market for a 5 years! This is my opinion... September was a "month of doubt", what will be with jobs, currencies, bank's accounts etc. Many companies whose need producst of microstock industry stopped with adding funds on theirs micostocks accounts for this month... "Fear of Recession" was the strongest in start... Advertisement industry is a first casualty but also will be first in start to go up... Next month will be "resurrection month",You will see!

What is going on with them??? I upload regularly and I had ZERO sales yesterday! Anyone else has ever had zero sales? It is ridiculous. I usually have a few dozens DLs every day. But the stupid weekends are growing worse and worse.
Yesterday I had ZERO day, today 1... I think that economic crisis forced many buyers to cancel shoping for this month....

We have to fight against subs... That must be campaign of contributors on agencies... Some agencies make first step in that direction for time coming " after subs"... You know which of them...
